Waah I feel bad for Lee Rang tbh :'( Idk I want him to find happiness :') Also, the puppy child is so cuteeeee!~ Also, that hypnotise video scared me especially when the kid started reading things in Jiah's room! Excited for the next ep! Let's see if Lee Yeon really went to save Lee Rang!? Or maybe he already saved Jiah so he is going to save Lee Rang now idk? Or maybe he can save Lee Rang faster and now since Lee Rang is indebted to Lee Yeon and since a fox always pays back their debt he can help save Jiah and they can do it fast!? IDK haha. Let's check it out together in EP8. Also FYI I haven't watched these episodes so I really don't know what's up haha.

Now for this episode: Dongwook in this red is giving me such inuyasha vibes iykyk. โโ Lee yeon is the biggest tsundere โโ The point of go (or baduk in Korean) is to surround as many of your opponents pieces on all sides as you can. You capture the pieces that you manage to surround and who ever has the most pieces captured wins. You can capture one piece at a time but more often you strategize to surround larger areas so you can capture a lot of pieces at once. But the bigger the area the harder it is to surround so you have to strategize well. Thereโs so many different possibilities on where to put your pieces that itโs largely considered a harder game than chess; itโs harder to predict your opponentโs next move and therefore harder to strategize how to win. โโ The puppy child is soooo cute. โโ Why do they always make children do the creepiest things?! I completely forgot about the hypnotism video damn it. I should stop watching these in the middle of the night. โโ I mean the imugi wants Ji ah to be his bride so he proooobably wouldnโt kill her. So the brother would be my choice too. But mostly because I feel bad for Lee Rang like he just wants to be loved ๐ฅบ

2023-10-28 08:57:16 +0000 UTCI wanted to watch the episode today but I'm so damn tired that I don't think I'll be able to concentrate long enough๐ It's gonna have to wait until tomorrow... โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ Iโm gonna say this just cause I canโt really remember what happens later but if she saw what we saw (with her past), how could she give that reaction. Girl you were also a part of it, you gave yourself to Imugi. And it is pretty clear that a big piece of the story is still missingโฆ I get that she is hurt by what she saw, but donโt put all the blame on him. She did kind of give him a chance to explain. He could have told her the whole truth about what happened in the past but instead lied through his teeth. Lee Yeon said what he said cause he was reminded of what the โgrandpaโ said to him, it was something like โare you going to let the tragic past repeat itself?โ. Him saying all of that to her was his way of pushing her away and hopefully saving her from suffering the same faith in this life time. He put up an facade of seeming like he doesnโt care about herโฆ But he keeps watching her from a distance to make sure that she is safe. โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ Seeing the flash-backs of how Lee Yeonโs and Lee Rangโs relationship used to be makes me smile. They loved each other so much, even if Lee Yeon didnโt show it. Itโs clear how much Lee Yeonโs words hurt, that he shouldnโt have saved Lee Rang in the forest. They still love each other deep downโฆ For godโs sake Lee Rang had to use Lee Yeon as payment for the glasses cause thatโs what was most precious to him! Canโt they just kiss and make up? โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ Yu-ri and Shin-too are so cute!! Nothing beats a good old love-hate relationship๐ฅฐ โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ I donโt really believe in a past life, itโs more wanting to believe that it exist. Cause that would entail that there is a future life and that there would not just be nothigness after you pass away. At the same time Iโm scared that I would be reincarnated into a life thatโs horrible. I think dying is one of my biggest fears just because you donโt know what happens after. That feeling of not knowing is terrifying to meโฆ iโm only 24 but there are times that I get death anxiety (I think thatโs a correct translation), Thanatophobia if you wanna be fancy. This is not just for me but also when I think about my loved ones passing away. How will I be able to handle that heartbreaking sadness?? Iโve never lost someone that close to me yet, so I have no way of knowing. There were times in the past when I didnโt fear dying and I think thatโs cause I wasnโt really mentally healthy at that point but now I wish me and everyone around me could live on foreverโฆ Sorry If it got deep but I feel like this is a safe place were you can be openโค๏ธ โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ I forgot how creepy this drama got at times!!! Imagine watching a recording of yourself from years ago and the past you suddenly starts speaking to you!! Hell nahhh I would cry! โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ So you watched the new Exorcist movie Kevin, what did you think? โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ Seeing everything that Lee Rang went through as a child is devastating. Like you said Kevin, he didnโt choose to be bornโฆ Itโs sad thinking that when meeting Lee Yeon it was probably the first time that he was shown affection๐ข That makes Lee Yeon leaving him even sadderโฆ One thing I thought of now that I donโt think I reflected over during my first watch is the mothers reaction to the pregnancy and having Lee Rang. She must have known the outcome if she had a child with a fox but since she tried to get rid of him some part of me feels like she didnโt get pregnant willinglyโฆ If you get what I mean. It could have been that she had feelings for the fox and wanted to be with him but not wanting kids. But I donโt knowโฆ We donโt get information on the relationship between the mom and dad so itโs up for interpretation. โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ I remember cheering as much as David when It showed that Lee Yeon went to save Lee Rang. There is just something about their connection that has me hooked. I love their bantering, knowing how much affection they had for each other, and how hurt Lee Rang was by Lee Yeonโs actions. Seeing him come to the rescue after he said that he regrets saving him in the forest the first time warms my heartโฆ

I watched the second season not too long ago and rewatching the first season with you guys just reminds me why I loved this show so much. In past episodes we've gotten various glimpses into Lee Rang's thoughts and emotions but I feel like this is the episode where you really get the chance to get to know him and why he is the way he is. From the people in his village attacking him to his mother calling him a monster and abandoning him, his past is just so sad. You can actually see in the scene where his mother abandoned him, that heโs already injured and bruised up. Iโm assuming itโs from the people in the village that beat him. The thought that theyโd do that to a child is just sickening... Anyway, The first time I watched this, I was honestly really surprised that Lee Yeon chose Lee Rang and not Ji Ah but the way this plays out in the next episode is really interesting. There is so much I want to say but I'm not gonna spoil anything so I'll just say I'm really excited about the upcoming episodes and I'll leave it at that lol.
