Seventeen Project: Debut Big Plan Ep.2 | REACTION

Before K-POP Boy Groups such as SEVENTEEN, VIXX, INFINITE, MONSTA X, ASTRO, SHINee, and EXO, I remember crushing and fangirling over boy bands such as New Kids on the Block, the Backstreet Boys, *NSYNC, 98 Degrees, Westlife, Boyzone, 5ive, O-Town, and LFO. Watching SEVENTEEN having butterflies in their stomachs, being so nervous, and being so hard on themselves after giving it them all and putting on an amazing makes me want to give them a huge. And yes that was Hyelim from Carat Land. Hyelim and Bumzu mother and father of SEVENTEEN continuing to support their precious kids. Have fun and enjoy watching the rest of 17 Projects.

Its nice watching this with y'all!~ And yes that was Hyelim, she's the same person from Caratland video. Also I didn't know you never saw Bumzu. Glad you finally got to see him~ I have heard that members were scared of S.coups, Woozi and Hoshi before since they were strict and kept the discipline. Also I totally get you guysss! I feel every ep they keep getting scolded. I feel so worried and sad for the members, seeing them so down. Btw I have seen Son Dambi (the senior who came) in a different variety show, "Village Survival The8". Its like a puzzle solving treasure hunt show. It was really fun! Even Son Dambi was so fun. It has like 2 seasons (6ep+6ep) and in S1 even Jennie was part of the cast. Also Dambi is also an amazing singer. I think she is very known for her song Queen. I might be wrong but I have heard many people mention it. I think I've heard Seungkwan also refer to it and sing it a lot. I really like her "Tears are falling" tho hehe. Anyways excited for the next episodeee! I am almost done with it. I just have the last ep left to watch!~ ^^

My celebrity crush was Daniel Radcliffe when Harry Potter was on its peak 🀣 Back to the topic lol Seventeen was nicknamed as performance idol. They use to have monthly/weekly performance livestreamed and onsite mini concert event doing covers. This is actually first time they performing original song. The situation actually makes them so nervous that they are not showing their usual confidence stage breaker self. I remember Mingyu mention before in one interview, this performance with less then 30 people audience actually dissapointed him. But I get where he is coming from as their weekly concert usually get more people coming to watch them. It makes them self reflect and appreciate more on performing whatever stage, to give their best. If you see the critisms given by the professionals and compare them right now, you can see why each members improved in a way they are today. At first when I watch this, I was like, why these poor boys needs to think on the creative direction angle, the risk of debuting in the current (at that time) market and all of those professional aspects. But then I realize, they are heading with self-producing idols direction, they have to share the company aspects in terms of what markets wants and what seventeen wants as well. Usually idols in their 3rd year will sometimes started to take directions on what they wanted, when they already have strong fanbased and support to experimental or maybe self-produced. But seventeen is taking direction early on without any data that they will succeed. No guaranty that their songs, their choreo will gonna make it. Just debuting wont give enough security as many idols debuted and die down not even a year timeline. Its the risk they taking together with the company. However, it was hard and harsh on the start but when they manage to survived a year of success after debut, self-producing become their advantages. Having large creative control over their music is not something that every idols get. Simply said that company cant change their group direction or take over creative control because they are able to make it work over their decision and choices. That is so much power to be held by rookie group but they strive to where they are today. I am curious to see what you guys think of going through this reality shows. And how different this format with other idols survival/reality show you have seen before. Lol just a thought. 😊 Also along the way, you would see that even they are competing with each other, you will never see them feeling threatened with each other instead they were so supportive and worried to each other. Bumzu and Hyelim is who we called the 14th member of seventeen. They are the one who β€œraised” seventeen. The one that believe them through tough love but never leave. I have fun watching with you guys πŸ˜‡ Love, A Carat πŸŒ•πŸ’

Yes, that was Hyelim-ssaem. Aww, I'm happy you remembered her. And I'm glad you saw her and Bumzu-nim in this ep as two of the people who have always been with SVT. Woozi and Hoshi are both known for being strict and scary back in their predebut days. Even when they weren't official leaders yet, trainees learned so much from them and also experienced scolding or simple disciplining... I think it's got better after their first few albums esp. when the members already improved their skills & musicality and already know how to work around their instruments (voice and body) without a lot of instructions from Woozi. He can direct and produce easier then.

Yes the girl, Hyelim is the one in caratland when they drag her to do the fighting challenge. She is their performance director as you can see since pre-debut day until today.
