Seems like everyone has a lot to say because the next one is the last episode lol Also all this MSG questions is making me laugh coz I never questioned what MSG is, I just know it makes your dishes more flavorful. Onto In The Soop related comment, if you guys enjoyed watching Seventeen playing futsal/soccer, you should watch their Going Seventeen Spin-off episode where some of the members played indoors it was hella funny! They're such avid fans of the sport you can watch them play it with their staff on Inside Seventeen and even appeared on a show in JTBC during L&R comeback where they compete with ahjussi's training to be soccer players. Please don't skip out on this and react to it coz it's so funny including the bonus clip 🤣 Ep 7-1: https://youtu.be/ewd1Pul0c_I Ep 7-2: https://youtu.be/knUNkYckCjU Bonus clip: https://youtu.be/gBcihl4z0tQ I'm so sad In The Soop is over but I'm excited for the next reactions you guys are gonna make. Fighting!

I think you guys would love One Fine Day! It's like a mixture of in the soop and variety content. It's the 3 meals a day 'theme' that lots of variety shows did (like treasure map and ikon tv). The episode of iKON TV did when they went on an island and cooked was basically a shorter version of it. It's also fun because they're so young and you've mainly seen 2020/2021 seventeen content.

Once again, I'm going to recommend watching SEVENTEEN Project! Now you basically know everyone's personalities, so it'd be fun to go all the way to the beginning to see how they were back then. I also personally feel like it gives another look into how hard they've really worked! Else going back to the albums is a good idea too. There's still so many great songs you haven't heard yet!

I'm so glad that you guys are reacting to IN THE SOOP, now you know SVTs dynamic.. Howoo or Hoshi & Woozi are always together haha , I only knew this after few months in the fandom. They almost always spend time together esp during holidays bcoz Woozi from what we know doesn't rly go home even during holidays bcoz he is always at his studio. Hoshi being the performance team leader always stays in the company so Howoo often hangs out (FUN FACT: they are known as 2 captains and from pre-debut these 2 captains have trained the other svt members in dancing, they are strict and the trainees are scared of them along with Scoups pre-debut),, in an interview they said they have similar activities so that's why..They call Woozi the tiger keeper bcoz he is most of the time the only one who can make Hoshi behave haha! SVt have diff dynamics within the group which is fun to know, Seungcheol and Jeonghan is known bcoz Seungcheol had always said that Jeonghan is his "healing" I also need to add that the members had said before that Jeonghan is emotionally sensitive, he approaches the members esp if he feels that they are not okay. He would ask how they are and so on so he is basically taking care of them esp their emotional state. 95 line is like the bffs,, Scoups said that he doesn't need other friends because he only need Jeonghan and Joshua. 97 is like the sweetest line haha,, whenever I watch vid compilation of 97 line you would literally go awwww.. the maknae are the savage line but they are also what I can say the generous line haha,, basically let the hyungs cuddle or baby them as well as tease,, well Seungkwan fights back but he loves the members so much. There's a lot to say about their friendship but SVT is such a group that just full of love and respect for each other. I thought Vernon would only be the chill, go with the flow guy but in interviews esp after the renewal he has expressed how much he loves the group and how much he wants to stay in the group. You can react to their anniv vid "SPECIAL VIDEO] SEVENTEEN 7th Anniversary ‘Chapter7:teen’" it is such an a heartwarming and funny vid. For Gose if you guys can react to "[GOING SEVENTEEN] EP.51 너 자신을 알라 #1 (Know Thyself #1)" this is their MBTI esp in EP 2 they went deeper so for me it is must watch video as a carat.

Oh I never knew that. All I knew was that even in my culture (as a Filipino) it was sometimes portrayed as bad for you in the media. Like often msg is synonymous to fake or used to describe exaggeration. But now that you say this some of that negativity probably came from western influence in general.

The reason why MSG has a bad reputation is actually rooted in racism/ xenophobia. To make a long story short, some doctor in the 1960s wrote a letter to The New England Journal of Medicine that had 0 research that stated that whenever he ate at a Chinese restaurant, he experienced a strange "syndrome" including heart palpitations, numbness etc, and said MSG might be the reason. When In reality, as you said, it's just another seasoning and is perfectly fine in moderation, however, this stigma stuck, and the saying Chinese Restaurant Syndrome became popular and escalated anti-Asian xenophobia in the USA. Bit of a bummer comment, I know 😅, but it might be why you guys are seeing more of it around you recently, as hopefully, people are becoming more educated.

David’s reaction to msg gives me flashbacks to my college days. I came home from the groceries and had a bag of msg and my roommate was so surprised when I said it was MSG lol. She thought it was fake or like David a drug that someone needed to get “on the black market” 😂😂 MSG is a staple asian household seasoning and it’s not new maybe it’s just getting more widely used outside of Asia not sure 🤷🏽‍♀️. A lot of people thought it was bad for a while cause mono sodium glutamate sounds scary and it’s used in a lot of processed food. But i don’t think it’s proven at least it’s not worse than salt. You know, everything in moderation. Also once you know that it stands for mono sodium glutamate look at the ingredients of stuff you eat cause it’s used in a lot of foods and snacks etc. I keep editing this as your questions about msg keep popping up lol but there really is no explaining it other than “MSG is MSG” 😂 Just think of it as a seasoning. It’s a flavor enhancer and makes things taste more savory(?). It has way less actual salt in it than table salt but it will still make your food taste salty. Idk how to explain it. It’s in ramen seasoning and that’s why if you watch some idol cooking clips you’ll see them add ramen seasoning to like soups and stuff because it just makes it better. It’s like a cheat code for cooking. Definitely buy some and try it. Yes! You can use salt and msg since it’s not completely a salt substitute. Might as well answer your other food-related questions on this already long comment 😅 Korean pizza toppings are on a whole other level. Sweet potato, sweet corn, octopus, shrimp, and other seafoods, whole garlic cloves, hot dog, pulled pork, pumpkin cream cheese, kimchi, you name it it’s probably on a Korean pizza. The crusts and sauces are also insane. For crusts you got sweet potato stuffed, sweet cinnamon, broccoli and cheese soup flavored, shrimp stuffed. As for sauces: Wasabi, gochujang, truffle cream. There’s a whole category of sweet pizzas too for dessert. Really pushing the boundaries of what pizza is. Makgeolli just tastes fizzy to me like a little tangy but not much flavor per se. But Makgeolli has flavors too! I'm not much of an alcohol drinker so I haven’t tried them. There's fruity ones like strawberry, peach, banana, citrus, etc but you also got chestnuts and cream cheese (yes cream cheese).

It's kind of interesting that you guys didn't realize how close Woozi and Hoshi are because even in going seventeen they're unconsciously usually around each other. But it also makes sense because the key to unlocking Seventeen's friendship dynamics is knowing just knowing the age lines and which members are the same age. It's such a big part of their dynamics but it's hard to just know 😭 Basically, S.coups, Jeonghan and Joshua are 95liners and the eldest members trio. Their dynamic with each other is literally Jeonghan and Joshua vs S.coups where the two of them do their absolute best to make Seungcheol's life harder, while also being his best friends that he relies on. The 3 of them definitely team up to take care of everyone while also maintaining their position as the menaces of the group. If you pay attention, the 3 of them are the instigators of every unhinged thing that seventeen has ever done. Jun, Hoshi, Woozi, and Wonwoo are 96line. They're also really close and are best friends but it's a bit more difficult to get a grasp of the dynamics between the 4 of them, because they're all introverts (yes Hoshi is an introvert despite being chaotic in going seventeen) and their love language is just chilling beside each other while watching everyone fondly 😭 Hoshi and Jun are the energetic and talkative introverts while Woozi & Wonwoo are the quiet and reserved introverts. Also the easiest way to remember they're the same age, is that they all very much exude cat behavior. I will not elaborate but 96-line radiating cat energy is probably the only thing this fandom agrees on. Mingyu, Dokyeom, and Minghao are 97line. Out of all the age lines, they're probably the most outwardly affectionate and bff-esque. Unlike 96-line, 97-line are much more sociable and just radiate love and happiness every time they're around each other. They're very much a part of the more affectionate members in Seventeen and are always around ready with hugs and kisses (kisses for mainly dokyeom's case..) Vernon and Seungkwan are 98line are very much best friends, obviously can't live with out each other, soulmates since day 1. Along with Dino who's 99-liner, the 3 of them are the maknae line. They have my favorite dynamics because one, Main Vocalist, Main Rapper, Main Dancer. Two, their personalities are literally so different the dynamic between the 3 of them is so fascinating 😭 like Seungkwan and Dino could be on the verge of tearing each other apart but then Vernon would walk in the room and both of them would melt. If you're just aware of how their age dynamics work in the back of your head, the friendships each member has the with the other literally just settles and clears up. Since they all met when they were so young like teenagers or barely teenagers, going to school together and hanging out with same age friends was a big part of their friendships. Like the knowledge that Seungkwan, Vernon, and Dino are maknae line makes you realize that while Seungkwan and Dino are suffering from endless teasing, Vernon is the baby of all the older members. Like 95 and 96 line look at Vernon with such soft affection in their eyes every time he breathes you'd think he's the maknae 😭 (sorry for the long comment lol, I'm sad that In The Soop is ending will you guys be checking out the behind the scenes?)
