This was a hilarious episode from someone who's been an SM stan since 2011!
Since they were drinking soju, my experience with Soju is taht I am weak. I had 2 bottles with 2 other friends, and I had the Asian flush. but I don't know how many drinks I am able to handle, cause usually i drink a lot if I play games. with beer pong, i'm good, so i usually don't drink but for games you have to drink, i do end up chugging a lot.

I will still stand by the fact that NCT is 3rd gen because NCT's debut as a whole is marked by The 7th Sense which was the beginning of 2016 and in the same year 127 and Dream also debuted. The 4th generation doesn't start until 2018 and the ambitious 3.5 gen idols are like basically mid-to-end of 2017. Since every unit in NCT other than WayV is 3rd gen and WayV is considered C-pop and not really kpop and they promote in China specifically, I don't think NCT would be considered 4th gen as "4th gen" just means 4th generation of kpop. You guys are the only people I've seen who who consider NCT to be 4th gen or even close, because even though new members are added everyone is still under the umbrella of NCT and even though there are new people, their music style isn't going to suddenly shift as NCT if that makes sense. Maybe when a new unit that's also based in Korea debuts it'll be more confusing, but WayV's audience (other than nctzens) had always been c-pop and that's where they're mostly marketed.
Each generation is marked less by the years and more like more like shifts that happen in the industry both musically and just the norms in Kpop if that makes sense. It's also by which groups are associated with each other and it draws like a clear line between the different generations. Like NCT, Mamamoo, Seventeen, GOT7, Monsta X, Twice, Red Velvet, etc. have always been associated together musically as 3rd gen while SKZ, TXT, Ateez, The Boyz, ITZY, Aespa, etc. are associated together as 4th gen.
With NCT Dream they just debuted fucking young like they're definitely 3rd gen and the youngest 3rd gen idols age wise, but everyone who's their age is 4th gen so it's a bit weird but they've also been active for over 6 years now. Like TXT has exactly NCT Dream's age range 1999-2002 and Ateez are a bit older than them 1998-2000 but it's hard to associate the dreamies with 4th gen groups like Ateez, TXT, and SKZ who are around their age because they debuted earlier.
(sorry I've just thought about it a lot also in this video they just meant that they're the 4th generation of SM artists like as a company along with Red Velvet because they trained and debuted around similar times).

Yeah NCT Dream debuted in the same year as NCT 127 so they're young but just as much 3rd generation lol also they're all old enough to drink actually (they played beer pong on 7lling), Doyoung is here instead because 2 Baddies is the latest release and he's there to promote.
When it comes to drinking I prefer cocktails (rum is my fave), but i can usually have about 1 bottle of soju by myself...otherwise the most I've done is 3 with friends. I like too drink A LOT but 'm such a lightweight there's no way I could do more than that lol
This was a blast, they were all so funny together, Doyoung was so cute and so drunk, he even talked about it in another NCT 127 content and the other members said he texted them that he missed them while filming and he had no memory of doing it. And yes! Ningning was on this show with aespa, that was a great episode, I hope y'all watch it lol

Doyoung 😭 “I never even sat with female colleagues” meanwhile him and Joy are always beefing in each other’s proximity and from just last month there’s a video of them sitting together while bickering 😭

Lee sooman was a singer but not an idol. Kpop and the idol culture came after him. H.O.T was actually one of the first idol groups:)
