I love this episode! Yes that yellow thing is the mascot of new Journey to the west and is iconic they even have a cat and dog version! The PD is known for a lot of shows. Many of which had very high ratings and feature lots of very famous people along with rookies. Also both Jiwon and Mino are part of New Journey to the West (same with Super Junior’s Kyuhyun, Soogeun and Hodong from Knowing Bros, Block B’s P.O and actor Ahn Jaehyun) and because of that have been a part of this channel almost since it started and been featured on this channel several times. That’s why the two are very close with the PD and each other. Winner also did a variety show with the PD so they’re pretty familiar with him. After this the PD started a series with the two treasure members. One thing is true once you start doing variety shows with this PD he will remember you and will likely cast you again. Also this is the same PD/channel that had Kai’s fashion variety show and baekhyun and xiumin appeared as guests on kyuhyun’s drinking show.

They're usually the ones that have to be more mature and look after everyone, but since they're the youngest here everyone is just babying them and looking after them.
