Chapter 1. Meeting the muscular Penny

Leonard and Sheldon talk while going up the stairs...

Sheldon: Superman is better than Thor because in addition to strength he has super speed...

Leonard: ohh, what super muscles, who is she?

Sheldon: (Amazed) Thor's girlfriend?

Leonard: Look at those big biceps, yes, yes, she's Thor's girlfriend...

Sheldon: Oh my God! Leonard, his biceps and arms are gigantic. This goes beyond average musculature.

Leonard:  (Amazed) Exactly, Sheldon. I've never seen someone so muscular. Do you  think I have a boyfriend, I think I'm in love, what will his name be?

Sheldon:  (Thoughtful) That's a dilemma, Leonard. We can't just call her "the  muscle one." We need a code name until we find out more about her.

Leonard: (Smiles) How about we call her "The Iron Lady"?

Sheldon:  (Nods) "The Iron Lady" is an appropriate name, given her impressive  musculature. Although, I should note that historically "The Iron Lady"  was associated with Margaret Thatcher. But, in this context, it makes  sense.

Leonard: (Laughing) Well, "The Iron Lady" it is. So what do we do now, Sheldon?

Sheldon:  (With determination) I think we should collect more data. We could try  to strike up a casual conversation and find out more about his  interests. Perhaps she is involved in a sport or bodybuilding  competition?

Leonard: (Nods) Yeah, good idea. But how do we do that without being obvious?

Sheldon:  (Smiles) Leonard, it all comes down to reverse psychology. We can drop  some fake weights in the hallway and kindly ask you to help us pick them  up. That could be a starting point.

**** Sheldon and Leonard look for some weights that the previous tenant left in their apartment and they drop them on the floor in front of Penny's apartment ****

Penny: (Smiles) Do you need help with those weights? They seem heavy.

Leonard: (Nervous) Oh, hello! Yes, thanks, they are a little heavier than we expected.

Sheldon: (Analytical) We were conducting an experiment on the strength needed to lift different weights. It would be valuable to have your help.

Penny: (Intrigued) That sounds interesting! I'm willing to help. I'm Penny, by the way.

Leonard: (Blushing) I'm Leonard, and this is Sheldon.

Sheldon: (Nods) Nice to meet you, Penny. Are you involved in the world of bodybuilding or any sport? Because your muscles are impressive.

Penny: (Laughing) Thanks, guys. Yes, I am a bodybuilder, and I also participate in weightlifting.

Leonard: (Impressed) Penny, your biceps are really impressive. Those muscle peaks are worthy of study.

Sheldon: (Analytical) You're right, Leonard. The dimensions of Penny's arm muscles are remarkable. Have you taken measurements of your biceps? It would be interesting to track its growth over time.

Penny: (Smiles) Thanks, guys! And yes, I have been tracking the progress of my muscles. My biceps are about 15 inches right now.

Leonard: (Impressed) 15 inches! That's bigger than many male bodybuilders' biceps.

Sheldon: (Curious) And what about your deltoids? Are you working on them too?

Penny: (Nods) Of course, Sheldon. My deltoids are an important part of my training routine. I want to make sure all my muscles are in balance. My shoulders are quite wide and well defined.

Leonard: (Observer) Also, your veins are very noticeable on your arms. I can see the biceps vein and forearm vein clearly. That is a sign of great muscle vascularization.

Sheldon: (Pointing) Oh, and let's not forget to mention your triceps. Those grooves and definition on the back of your arms are noticeable.

Penny: (Laughing) You guys are really observant! Yes, triceps work is essential to achieving that toned look.

Leonard: (Admiring) Well, Penny, your commitment and dedication to bodybuilding is amazing. Your body is a masterpiece of muscle development.

Sheldon: (Serious) From a scientific perspective, your ability to transform your body is an example of the plasticity of muscle tissue and physiological adaptation to training. I'm impressed.
