Also fun fact Seunghun (the third treasure A trainee that got picked) was a trainee for almost 10 years before debuting (he debuted with CIX in 2019)!

2022-05-30 02:46:34 +0000 UTCI understand what you guys meant with wanting Midam to stay and help Treasure A with their last performance but I genuinely don’t think he would’ve enjoyed it or done well which could’ve caused a bad reaction on the rest of the group and it would be obvious he didn’t want to be there (which could frustrate the other trainees and lower moral). I can understand him feeling frustrated as a trainee of almost 3 years and not seeing much hope for debut, some people just aren’t cut out for the idol lifestyle and it’s so much harder and intense being a trainee then people probably imagine so I don’t really blame him for wanting to leave as soon as he could :( and it’s not bad putting yourself first in a situation like that because yeah it might be selfish but the Korean industry is brutal

YG literally told Hyunsuk (blond rapper/treasure leader #1) that he was doing too much and to learn from Junhyuk, but literally a few days later, he told Junhyuk he's not doing enough?? lol. So Junhyuk was the epitome of a great rap teacher, enough for him to tell Hyunsuk to learn from him, but all of a sudden he's bland and not improving? He wanted Junhyuk on the show just to get people hyped about him and to debut him leader. I think Junhyuk knew that. But he left YG and lives in Canada. I think he knew YG wasn't gonna debut another group in a while and probably dipped during the scandals.

I think besides yg, the worst i've seen is Monsta X's survival show. I remember I.M. joining in one of the last episodes and they didn't tell him it was a surprise and it made everyone on the show dislike him at first cause he jumped ahead and had an advantage basically. It created a lot of tension and he was the maknae :( he was very isolated. Obviously they eventually welcomed him (and he debuted) but it must have been hard.
