I really feel bad for Yeonjoo whenever I see this scene, where she cries in front of the OT after meeting him and he didn't remember her. :'( Wow same date! May 20th!

Hi guys!! So just to give you guys a be bit more context, the killer remembers everything whereas Kang chul has forgotten everything because of the whole dream thing. And that's an advantage he, currently, has over Kang chul, since he knows there's a real world that exists etc. Yeon Joo kept re-appearing in the comic world because she was still in Kang chul's subconscious mind because of the dream, so he accidentally kept summoning her even though he has no real memory of her. And the reason why the killer has so many powers is because his purpose was to cause choas, so the plot can move on in the comic. Once he's done something, he'll disappear hence why that door appeared for him to go back to his house, because he's not needed anymore. Before he didn't have any form so he appeared and disappeared however he wanted because he's not a human or in this case a proper character. But now that he has a body, he has more control and he has become one of the main villains in the story. Of course, once the author writes something, he can't predict how the story will actually go because there will always be some sort of variable/loophole that will get in the way. And here the loophole was that they forgot about the killer entirely, thinking that the whole story just revolves around Kang chul but the one who continued the story was the killer. So, technically, both him and Kang chul are the two main characters now.

The killer didn’t die, they were just showing and explaining to us what they were planning to do with the story to wrap it up but it obviously didn’t turn out like they wanted it to ^^

I completely agree that this author is one of those rare cases where it's really best not to follow your dreams lmao. He really should have listened to the haters, should have freaking listened to his wife. What this drama has thought was be a good author or you might find yourself in a dual with a character you didn't really plan out and get your face stolen. And most importantly through Kang Chul you can truly see the benefits of being single. I have never seen Him that happy, just enjoying his life having car chases. You can't do that in a relationship!!! He's a great representation of how it leaves after being free from a toxic relationship...Not saying their relationship was toxic, but neither of them were really benefiting from it.
