Idk if someone has explained it or will later on but just wanted to let you know that the friend is the president/ceo and the main character is the vice CHAIRMAN. Only the chairman (his dad who owns the company/conglomerate) has more power than him in the company. The vice chairman is higher than the president which is why the dude calls him owner ๐
