They can still watch it if they want (even if it does't win a poll) but I just think it would be best that if they do watch it, to read and understand why it is a controversy around it. I left a pretty long comment about it on the poll (😅) but I stand by what I said. From what I know it won't get canceled (it actually went to court) and it might still be a good drama. But it is important to know that it is based on history, even if it is a false and twisted version of it, and to realize that people actually got killed and traumatized because of these events. It is not just something fictional and completely made up.

I love this drama!!! SO glad you guys are checking it out! Also the age difference, yes its pretty obvious because hes like hundreds of years old and shes in high school, but he was like late 20's early 30's when he died and she, as mentioned in the show don't know if you caught it, is about 18-19. If you remember her mom died on her 9th birthday and later on her cousin said shes lived with us for 10 years already. Yes it's still an age gap but I just wanted to clarify that part of it since you guys seemed to mention it a bit. Also yes it is still weird since she is in. high school but you also have to think this is a show that spans through time so don't get too hung up on that.

Also you guys should definitely watch this on Viki or Netflix for the better subtitles. The subs for this video were a bit off with their translation and since this drama has heavy exposition and mythology it can get a bit confusing without the correct subs.

As one of the passionate voters of this drama I assure you I will be watching all the episodes along with you guys... simply because this drama has such a high rewatch value. It's okay to get confused as it does have a lot of genres and storylines but rest assured it will all be explained with time and the story comes together beautifully. The story is just so hauntingly beautiful with the amazing ost.

You should watch the show on Viki or Netflix.. it will have better subtitles and easy to understand.

If you can watch it on Viki then thats the best way because the subtitles are less confusing on there and more accurate because there were a few things wrong in these translations (for example the King didn't say to kill the girls household, he said to kill the goblins household)

Its been YEARS since I've watched Goblin but I have to say, a side from the romance, Goblin has one of the best BROMANCE couples in dramaland, so I'm really excited to see My Goblin and my Grim reaper bicker like crazy hahaha

Finally! Ive been waitng for this reaction since i watched Produce X 101. Also dont worry about the storyline. I think all of us were really cofused when we watch it for the first time. It will explain everything with time and if you dont get something im sure a lot of us will gladly help you and explain it for you. I still see new things everytime i watch and thats why i love this kdrama.

you also saw the actor playing the Goblin in Train to Busan, he's the male lead in it. I voted for this drama, it's really good and it as to do with a lot of Korean mythology which I find very interesting. And also because Lee Dong Wook (the grim reaper) is in it, and I watch anything he's in. And everything he does is insane, or maybe just to biased, who knows. And I can't watch the last scene the same now, because of SF9 and the time when Yoo Taeyang and Hwiyoung reenacted this scene, it was way too hilarious.
