DOLLHOUSE ~ New Toys ~ Part 1
Added 2024-08-09 22:17:28 +0000 UTCFinally, another long chapter! This one's clocking in at 726 images! Told ya I wouldn't be going past 800 again. This one's got a lot of story going on, though, so I'd imagine it'll be a decently longer read than "Fallen Party." That's also why this chapter has been in the works for so long, by the by. After all, this story marks the start of the climax to what I supposed could be called the "Dollhouse" Saga. Starting with "Passionate Science" and "Courage Test" as the earliest chapters, building up the E.S.M.C., their developments, and their resistances, all through multiple loosely connected stories and games... To be blunt, It's a very messy timeline, and I've likely let a few started plot threads go due to the unfortunate reasoning of "I forgot." However, I'm gonna try my best to collect what I remember starting and writing, and try to make a nice climactic battle for you all to enjoy. But that's getting ahead of the now- I'm sure some of you are wondering about game development, and how it's going. The simple answer is- fine! However, I would like to say that the time I'm spending in RPG Maker may not be exactly what you expect. I've begun to start chipping away at projects I wanna do, rather than just focusing everything on Dollhouse Rising. Which, to be clear, I still am fond of, but, as is demonstrated by my desire to wrap this saga up- I kinda wanna do other stuff. So, please, I appreciate your patience, your support, and your time. Seeing as how some side stories kind slipped through that cracks that's understandable especially when you have bigger projects in mind. Keep it up! Love your stuff. Can't stop loving it.

You are a genuinely skilled writer (for both dialogue and plot) and worldbuilder, and your best and most emotionally evocative works comes when you let those skills shine. This was a genuinely tense story, especially given the moral dilemma the resistance faced, and the teasers for the future have me very, very excited - The 'Plaguebearer' obviously sounds extremely ominous, and the Amazon project finally coming to fruition and being the titular DOLLHOUSE!!! I audibly gasped at the name drop. P.S. That massive loredump about Cole was hilarious. P.P.S. Jelena really is 'woah' as a design.
