She wore a navy blazer and white blouse, the collar neat despite the tight knot in her stomach. Her violet plaid skirt brushed just above her knees, and the blue thigh-highs hugged her legs with gentle pressure. At her feet, polished black moccasins clicked once on the tiled floor, then fell silent.
She moved carefully, as if being watched, which, of course, she was.
Sitting down, she smoothed the hem of her skirt. Her shoulders rose with a quiet breath she hadn’t meant to let out. Hands folded in her lap. Still. Focused. But not fully composed.
Her eyes glanced toward the lens and quickly away.
She wasn’t used to being this exposed. Not like this.
But still, she stayed.
Because sometimes, even the shyest masks hide the strongest resolve...
キャスティングルームは静まり返っていた。白い虚空、殺風景で殺風景な空間。低いソファと、それに面した三脚だけが、その空間を隔てていた。蛍光灯が頭上でかすかに揺れていた。エリが足を踏み入れたが、いつもより存在感は薄かった。
彼女はネイビーのブレザーと白いブラウスを着ていた。きつく締まったお腹にもかかわらず、襟はきちんとしていた。紫のチェック柄のスカートは膝上まで届き、ブルーのサイハイソックスが脚を優しく包み込んでいた。足元では、磨かれた黒いモカシンがタイル張りの床に一度カチッと音を立て、そして静かになった。
彼女は誰かに見られているかのようで、注意深く動いた。もちろん、見られていた。
彼女は腰を下ろし、スカートの裾を撫でた。意識せずに静かに息を吐きながら、肩が上がった。両手は膝の上で組んだ。静かだ。集中している。だが、完全に落ち着いているわけではない。
彼女の視線はレンズに向けられ、すぐに視線を逸らした。
彼女はこんなにも露出した状態に慣れていなかった。こんな風には。
それでも、彼女は留まった。
だって、時に、どんなに内気な仮面でも、最も強い決意を隠してしまうことがあるから…
