Ryza, now years beyond her days of wild alchemy and adventure, worked as a maid for the noble who once supported her research. That day, she decided to surprise him with something simple, a homemade hamburger, freshly grilled and still warm.
He smiled as she placed the plate in front of him.
"You’ve improved your skills in more ways than one,” he said.
Ryza blushed, fingers brushing her apron.
“Well… I thought you deserved something special.”
As he finished the last bite, their eyes met, something unspoken sparking in the space between them.
Then, gently, he said, “Maybe I should thank you properly.”
They slipped away into the quiet of the study.
No relics, no runes, just warmth, closeness, and a very different kind of alchemy
錬金術と冒険に明け暮れた日々から何年も経ったライザは、かつて研究を支援してくれた貴族の侍女として働いていた。その日、彼女は彼にちょっとしたサプライズをしようと考えた。焼きたてでまだ温かい、自家製ハンバーガーだ。
ライザが皿を彼の前に置くと、彼は微笑んだ。「君は色々な意味で腕を磨いてきたな」と彼は言った。
ライザは顔を赤らめ、エプロンに指を触れた。「ええと…君には何か特別なものをあげるべきだと思ったんだ。」
最後の一口を平らげると、二人の視線が合った。言葉にならない何かが二人の間に火花を散らした。そして、彼は優しく言った。「ちゃんとお礼を言った方がいいかもしれないな。」
二人は静かな書斎へと消えていった。遺物もルーンもなく、ただ温かさと親密さ、そして全く異なる錬金術だけが残っていた。

Hope you’re all doing great!
Unfortunately, I don’t have much time right now, but I just wanted to tease you with a little idea that’s been on my mind.
From now on, I’ll try my best to release at least one comic per week! I’ll probably include them in certain tiers, but for now, it’s just an idea. I still need to study it a bit more and figure out what the best approach will be.
I’m really excited about it, and I’ll share more once I’ve had the time to structure everything properly!
