Her chest tightened.
She wanted to catch up, to walk beside him. But her body stayed frozen in that uncertain space between want and fear.
“You know what to do,” Yoru murmured in her mind.
Asa didn’t speak aloud, she didn’t need to. One quiet thought, and everything shifted.
Yoru moved them forward, casually brushing his shoulder. Close now. Side by side.
They walked for a while, no words exchanged, just the closeness. Then, a turn. A quiet hotel sign. A moment of pause. Agreement unspoken.
In the room, sunlight streamed through thin curtains. Their jackets fell to the side. Fingers touched. A heartbeat skipped.
No voices now. No war.
Only warmth!
通りは昼間の雑談で賑わい、窓に反射する陽光、舗道を叩く靴の音。アサは人混みに半ば隠れながら、彼の後ろを歩き、彼が携帯で何かを見て笑う様子を見ていた。
胸が締め付けられた。
追いつきたい、隣を歩きたいと思った。しかし、彼女の体は欲望と恐怖の間の不確かな空間に凍りついたままだった。
「どうすればいいか分かっているだろう」ヨルは心の中で呟いた。
アサは声に出さなかった。声を出す必要もなかった。静かに考えただけで、すべてが変わった。
ヨルは二人を前に進め、さりげなく肩を撫でた。「もっと近くに。並んで。」
しばらく歩いた。言葉は交わさず、ただ親密さだけがあった。そして、曲がった。静かなホテルの看板。一瞬の沈黙。言葉には出さない合意。
部屋の中、薄いカーテン越しに陽光が差し込んでいた。ジャケットが横に落ちた。指が触れ合った。心臓が少し鼓動した。
今はもう声はない。戦争はなし。
あるのは温かさだけ！
