Cooking Contest

Hey guys! Weird to be posting on a Monday, but I digress. Now that I took a leap with Discord, I figured I might as well keep hopping, starting with something I call a Cooking Contest. Here's the gist: Every month, I'll hold a Koikatsu/HS2 creation contest on Discord. The first week of the month will be an admission period, where people will sign up. Following that, two weeks will be granted to create either a singular image (like the thumbnail) or a short story, and the final week of the month will be a judging period, done either by me and a select few individuals, or by poll on Pixiv. Once that's all done, a collection of the winners will be posted on Pixiv, and I'm even considering offering monetary reward for those who get top three positions. Sounds like a haphazard plan, doesn't it? That's because it kind of is. I haven't solidified exactly how this will work yet, because I don't even know how many people will even want to do this. So... That's what this post is for. Comment down below your thoughts; Things like rules, limitations, systems, etc., and most importantly, tell me if you even think this will work.

As you are starting a brand new discord server as well as being the first time(?) hosting a contest, I feel a monetary reward would be too complicated to include as well. Especially if it's other community members that will be judging the submissions but the money is sent by you? There may be collusion. Then again I am usually paranoid and overly cautious about these things, and it would be awesome if everything works out flawlessly.

Sounds like fun I like the idea

I don’t know if people are gonna compete this contest and this is today post as you might take a day off tomorrow

Not that I can see. I, myself, will not be participating in the contest, and depending on what people suggest, judgment may fall into the hands of the people, rather than me. Think of this as merely a side community event.

Naturally! But I wanted to see if public reception held up for what I perceived to be a fun idea. And also if anyone actually cared to participate.

I think it has potential but my question is would this affect stuff your normally doing ie fallen hero, trainer etc?

If you are gonna hold a contest, I think you should share your discord link publicly first.
