Progress Report: Control the Town!
Added 2023-04-15 19:06:28 +0000 UTCThe first byte size game I'll be producing for you all... Control the Town! It feels sorta liberating, having the scope economized. The premise of the game is about as on the nose as you can get: You control a town. As seen in the file, littered throughout the town will be an assortment of beauties for you to collect and play with. While nothing has quite been set in stone yet, I'm imagining a day-night cycle with each girl having their own schedule, tasking the player with effective time management in order to collect as many toys as you can. I sincerely hope you all continue to stay tuned and follow the development of this game.

Certainly easier to just jump in and play a relatively short game of this genre in one sitting instead of one that takes multiple sessions. Although, when I first saw the email for this post, I was extra excited cause I believed it was the first of these short games, not just a collection of preview picsπ

2023-04-16 19:55:39 +0000 UTCAwesome! Definitely a classic format for these types of games. It'll be interesting to see how you'll make the time management gameplay feel fun and not "grindy". A lot of RPGM games that use this mechanic basically have you raise affection over a few days with little to no progress besides a tick up on an affection bar, so I'm looking forward to your implementation!
