test print
Added 2025-03-10 03:55:38 +0000 UTCfinally got around to dehyrdating a spool of plastic and test printing this, after about a day of sanding its very smooth and i just gotta procure some filler to fill the last imperfections out.

you could, 3d prints are fairly paintable. im not going to do it as i dont wanna go out of my way to find skin safe or food grade paints. there isnt any reason it wouldnt be possible to do though. i have painted figures before, i have a renamon sitting on my desk i painted :)

2025-03-11 02:13:28 +0000 UTCit works well, i have two other printed pieces that ive tried before. the only problem is that thermoplastics pull water from the environment so they do need a filler and sealer to make them sanitary to use. after being sealed they do well.
