patreon

What would you like more of on this Patreon?

Hello dear patrons! Later this month I am going to dedicate two weeks to the organisation and improvement of this patreon, and the creation of some new exclusive content. Growing this patreon and making it a higher value experience for all of you represents the best way I can continue to thrive and complete projects.

Please tell me, of the below options, which appeals to you MOST as a supporter? Which would you be more likely to stick around for? I am open to any suggestions that aren't listed below (so please let me know in the comments).

Hmm, while I really like the suggestion, my work related doodles are REAALLY crappy, they honestly make no sense to anybody other than me. I probably take more care with things in my sketchbook so maybe scanning and sharing some good pages from those would be a nice exclusive. Thanks for the idea :)

Have you ever considered just posting your doodles sometimes? I know that may not be considered a very "high value" perk for a patreon, but I for one LOVE seeing an artist's less serious/polished art. It can be a quick glimpse into how you concept ideas, what your characters do between the animations they star in, or what you draw to unwind or warm up. Maybe your other patrons would enjoy it too.

Haha, thanks Paul. That is, for the time, what I am focusing on. Probably more streaming too, as it ticks the box of just giving people MOAR in general.

Well Harry, the plurality has spoken. You'd better release eleventy-seven poorly-animated and rushed projects a day, or I'll unsubscribe, and give my hard-earned money to Ted Gier instead. PS Nah, all jokes aside. I think it'd be better for your channel if you focus on releasing the big releases.

Paul Pascalau

Thanks Joel. That's probably the easiest thing for me to do, so I'll try to do more of that. Much love x

Heh, seems i‘m in the minority, but yea my main incentive for supporting any creator on Patreon has always been to see behind the scenes. ShotBlast was nice but tbh it could totally also just be an unpolished rambling 20 minute video that doesn‘t take up too much of your time but you share a thought or technique or finding or whatever. But i‘ll support either way. I think the trick with consistent stuff on Patreon is just to make it in a way that enables you to make it consistently without having to worry too much about production value. Most guys i follow just turn on their screen recorder and show off some stuff for a bit and upload that totally unedited video. Completely legit way of doing things!
