Added 2024-12-07 18:45:16 +0000 UTCA HUGE thanks to everyone who read and commented on the digital release of the Starbarians graphic novel last week. The physical release is in the complicated process of being printed at an order of 4000 units, to ship early next year, and there will be more news about that over on Indiegogo soon.
I don't often do this, but I wanted to share with you all that November and December has been a trying period. Some ups and some serious downs have occurred, not just limited to finances, but it's resulted in me working to make some extra income to help stabilise things. Hand-drawn illustrations are a kind of work I can do while away from the computer, and near family who need me right now. You'll see me shilling a load of new hand-drawn stuff on twitter in about a week, which is a necessary evil to help power through this month. That said, before Christmas, I will be working on the next animation as well as producing new livestreams -- because the comic is done and its time to come BACK.
I am SO HYPED FOR IT. If you remember, I shared some updates earlier this year on animating with a more streamlined approach that is MUCH quicker, and, I think, still looks very acceptable for less important scenes. I feel like this small change could usher in a long-awaited surge in productivity, and I'm super eager to begin cranking out scenes before the end of the month. More to follow!
