Hey idk if you'll see it but! the actor that was at the restaurant eating popcorn and recognizing the uncle is Lee jong-suk and that scene actually had many references to his dramas! first of all, they said he was the top of the university with shooting. In the drama W-two worlds he was a shooter at the olympics:) second, when he "recognized" him, he was actually in the same drama with him. and the third of it, when he said he looks like an animated character, he was also referencing for W! I really hope you guys watch W- two worlds or any of Jongsuks dramas. He is actually one of my favorite actors, and that drama would truly interest you. Thank you <3

I was called a pig by kids when I was little since my name rhymed with it in my country.

In a lot of Asian countries calling a friend something like "chubs" or "pig/piggy" isn't necessarily malicious lol ESPECIALLY in China but it can happen in Korea too! He used to call her that when she was little and she didn't mind then so he kind of just continued to call her that to be friendly without thinking about how she'd feel about it now as a young lady xD but he really means no harm he's just a bit slow on picking up social queues and emotions sometimes lol

Oh nicknames...yeah...I had a few. I am very short...so in high school they called me Minimi or Standgebläse (engl translation is standing blower...I don't think I have to explain what that means). They called me dwarf for a short amount of time as well. Later in life they just called me by my last name...or they just shortend it to Squi...or made it cute to Squinti. My parents called me Vani for the longest time, till my niece was born. She had trouble pronouncing my name when she started speaking...she called me Nana instead. Since then I am Nana in my family...my niece is 8 years old now...she still calls me that. Have a great day guys. Love you 💜💜

Chubs in better than Fatty as a translation. Its just a fun nickname, I dont think its anything offensive, plus he is saying that in an endearing way.

ooh I forgot that Jaehyun from N.Flying was in it, he look so young here.

Maureen

the translation on netflix is 'chubs'

Fatty seems like a bit of a harsh translation xD I'd say it's a rather lighthearted nickname used with kids

Love this drama plsss do 2 or 3 episodes a week and the swimmer was doing it in a joking manner not trying be mean or bully

Omg the nickname lol I forgot all about it. Fatty/Chubs was her nickname in school and he just calls her that because that's how he knew her back then. He is just really dumb and didn't realize an adult girl would hate being called that, especially when she already known as the "big" tall strong girl. He does it in a friendly teasing manner and doesn't intend to be mean, he just got carried away because he was happy he met his friend again.

It's finally time! It took so much for me not to move onto episode 2 on my own lol, this is one of my fave dramas. Thank You again.
