I don’t really have a backstory for each of the characters and why they have the cybernetics that they do, but like any body mods some of them would be purely cosmetic while others could be for medical reasons or to enhance the persons strength/reflexes etc. I like to think some of the face tech is to help them breathe in an atmosphere that is still being terraformed, the arms/shoulders/back to enhance their strength/ legs to make them faaassssttt. I’ll try to go into more detail with it when I eventually get around to making the art books
