Why is the kingdom vids tagged as Ateez kingdom than STRAY KIDS and IKON? Why don't you just tag it as kingdom: then the groups names

I watched it on Kshow123 too, but it wasn't as stuck as yours. There are different sources they provided, and you might have to choose another one. (I think I choose the one named V.I.P, it is quite smooth and just fyi it's not actually vip that needs money)

hii sorry to just drop in here. I think a lot of your points make a lot of sense. one thing that i wanted to mention is that the voting was global (during 4 days) and especially for groups like skz etc a lot of international fans voted, so if a group has a big international following but a smaller korean one they still could get a good amount of votes. One thing i saw was that stay (and i think deobis too) had really organized voting fanbases that worked with statistic calculations and made clear voting strategies, i think this may have played a big role. Cause with every vote a person HAD to vote for 3 groups, so strategies were very essential. But it's only what i saw, it's probably a combination of things... either way i hate that groups had to be last cause all of them were amazing :(

Also regarding the ranking, Ateez actually has a very small fan base in Korea. They’re huge internationally but actually not really very popular in Korea, they probably have one of the smallest Korean fanbases of the groups here and most of the voters were probably Korean. BTOB is massive in Korea, they’re literally legends. Stray Kids is also more well known international,y I think but they’re from JYP so they probably are more known in Korea than a group like Ateez from a smaller company? Several Sf9 members are well known actors so they probably have fans from their other activities, The Boyz gained a lot of recognition through Road to Kingdom, and iKon is, well, iKon lol. So I think that might’ve contributed to Ateez’s placement? But then again I kinda deduced this from various sources and what I could be saying could be completely wrong cuz I don’t live in Korea haha

There’s actually a theory that The Boyz’s Intro stage represented all of the groups from Road to Kingdom! For example the first neck twisting move was referencing a move that Verivery did in one of their RTK performances, their circle floor dance was a reference to Oneus’s floor move in their RTK intro stage, etc. Which is a genius idea lol. I really do hope you check out more of The Boyz, especially their RTK performances!! I think they really did set the standard for these performances during Road to Kingdom :) There’s a ton of pressure on them now tho cuz they’re now carrying the weight of all the RTK groups that aren’t in Kingdom- they basically represent those groups now (Pentagon’s Kino said this I think? Not sure) which is a ton of pressure lol, but the idea of referencing all the other groups in this intro stage is actually so cool

Also sorry for the very late comment it took me a while to fully watch this! However I don’t think you were biased at all, it’s just how the voting went. I’m not looking down on these groups at all, they are amazing of course! But btob is popular in Korea but not internationally and sf9 isn’t that known so I think because everyone had to vote for 3 groups they chose those two because they think that they would’ve have as many votes as sad as that sounds. Again I’m not putting down their talent it’s just how it is, because btob and sf9 didn’t have many accounts made for them on the voting app. My personal ranking is: Stray kids- I am a stay but they had so many things to it and theirs especially could easily go wrong. The boyz- I mean they won road to kingdom for a reason, they know exactly what they’re doing. Ateez- they really danced amazingly and sang the whole time, they killed it as always and I loved the things like the blood. Ikon- I love ikon, just like you they were one of my first groups and they’re always great performances, they have amazing energy and charisma however I feel like it wasn’t anything special? I don’t know they just did a normal performance to me, like something ikon would always do, which there’s nothing wrong with that but the other groups brought way more. Btob- their vocals are amazing and I love their songs, they’re also one of my favourite groups they’re so funny but they’re only this low because again even tho they did amazing it’s hard to compare that to the amazing stunts and stuff the younger groups did. Sf9- I think they’re great performers, they’ve done amazing stuff before, like that fan choreo they did near debut, and I know they can do amazing but I feel like they were kinda underwhelming to me? It’s more because they only had 100 seconds and they wasted so much of that time just walking onto stage and staring into the camera. It was just poor time management skills, and because of that all the main comments they got from people and the other groups even was about their looks and physique which sucks but it did at some points feel more like a runway. I hope they get to show more next time because I know they can do better. I got carried away, I know this is a long ass comment but I can’t be bothered deleting anything

I definitely agree with what you said about The Boyz setting the standards for what a "Kingdom" or "Road To Kingdom" stage should look like! Their themes and execution were absolutely unbelievable! I followed TBZ from a distance but after watching RTK I really dove in and now I love them SO much! I'm sure after some more performances the guys will warm up to them too but even then they did still put them in their top 3~ I also hope they check out RTK or at least the The Boyz performances

Thanks for another great video! I think part of the reason why ATEEZ ranked so low was because the first round was only based on fan voting so it essentially boiled down to a popularity vote. I'm really curious to see what the rankings will be like once the main rounds start and there are other judging criteria

Hi!!! STAFF doesn't allowed them to talk to each other or share time together, so they don't see each other other than those moments when they record together, the rest of the time they are not allowed to talk or hang out with each other to avoid they share any type of info about the presentations they are doing so there reactions are honest

I don't know why I'm doing this when I literally signed up here for GOT7 and SKZ contents but THE BOYZ really deserve some recognition for how all these great performances came to be imo. I just feel like all the flair and aesthetics and special effects that define a "Kingdom" stage performance was set by TBZ's performances in Road To Kingdom. TBZ basically created the "kingdom genre" in RTK. They really set the bar and I highly recommend that you watch it (and hopefully start following TBZ as well) - if not for the eliminations, that show would have been really awesome. Or just watch their stages there, even then you can see how they've really mastered this type of performance setting - and their attention to detailsss ugh. *Chef's kiss* (I know I'm babbling but I'm just a lil' perplexed about TBZ not getting the reaction I thought you'd have - but I understand, you don't know them yet. But you'll be very fond of them soon enough. I literally started watching RTK for Pentagon but ended up rooting for TBZ and highkey stanning lol) Now I have no doubt about SKZ's, ATEEZ's, and SF9's capability to take the crown for themselves - these teams are PERFORMERS and I really look forward to what they'll show us as the competition progresses. (Especially excited about SKZ tbh *wink wink*) I have HUGE respect for iKON and am still very much a Melody (BTOB's fandom), but I, too feel really scared for them being on this show. They are amazing teams that have nothing left to prove and are already very established names in the industry but I can't help but feel that they're being used as fillers by Mnet. iKON may be able to step it up more but BTOB are known (and rightfully so) as balladols and I feel like this is just not up their alley. But then again, I look forward to their reactions and interactions the most among all the teams. ㅋㅋㅋ Anyway, I have been following you guys for a while and I'm so excited to watch this with you! I was never this chatty in the comments before because I just really enjoyed watching you guys but I can't help it this time. Sorry~ hehe

I stan all of the groups here except BTOB but even then I have a huge respect for them so I'd like to think i'm pretty unbiased, i'm also just a HUGE HUGE multi so I tend to be unbiased anyways when it comes to things like this. I really only vote for the three groups I think did best and don't do any "strategic voting" that some fans were doing or whatever. I don't think you guys were being biased, especially since y'all included The Boyz in your top 3 when y'all don't even stan lol Anyways I think my ranking in order of who I think did best would be this: 1. The Boyz (Their stage was so unique to them, it was intense but it was also elegant and refined, so many different genre's were mixed in!) 2. Ateez (Their performance told a story, I really love stages that have acting incorporated. The choreo was great and the theatrics were there) 3. Stray Kids (I don't even know what to say, they just performed something that was very Stray Kids if that makes sense? Something unique to them. They pulled out all the stops) 4. iKON (Event though their performance "wasn't as fancy" it still showed their unique swag that they have and their carefree nature on stage so it was really fun to watch! Their style of dance was very hip-hop which was a refreshing change compared to the other groups) 5. BTOB (What can I say other than VOCALS?!?! I do appreciate some good vocals but it's hard to compare them to other groups that did full on performances so that's why they're so far down, I'm curious to see what they do next!) 6. SF9 (Listen y'all, I love SF9 a lot, i've been a Fantasy since their debut, I even watched their pre-debut survival show! I know how talented they are and I know they can do AMAZING things and I think that's why they're ranked last in my ranking. I had super high expectations because I know they can do great but their performance was the most "normal" out of all of them, kind of like just watching an M Countdown comeback stage or something, nothing that really stood out. I know they'll bring it for the following performances and I can't wait to see them step it up)

Stray Kids, Ateez and The Boyz were my favorite performances of the night. I wish SF9 had picked “Now or Never,” that’s my favorite song of their number ones. I think Stray Kids will come out on top, followed by The Boyz. But I’ll feel awful if iKON comes in last place. Everyone did great. Looking forward to episode 2.

OKAY finished all 3 parts lol 😂 My top 3 personally were ATZ/SKZ (i loved both of their themes and storyline) and then BTOB (im a choir nerd, so I definitely nerded out over their performance lmao) All the groups did amazing though, and im excited to see ep 2's performances!! ❤

honestly a lot of kingdom has been a mess before it even started but i think having to vote for 3 teams to be able to vote at all really did mess up the rankings because fandoms had strategies for voting but there are also people who don't want to vote for a certain group and use the extra votes for only the groups that they're going with "helping" so it inflates their votes. they don't have livestreaming that is accessible for fans that are not in south korea, so people who had access were streaming it on twitch or other ways but they kept getting taken down which is ridiculous to me because if they're going to make it global voting, why not make it possible for global fans to watch? i do believe the episodes will be split up like this for the cliffhangers so im assuming this week's episode will be the rest of the results for this intro stage and then half of the performances for the next stage?

Oh, Ateez's senoir group is Block B and the dance crew is BB Trippin! Block B is kinda more like a cousin group rather than a brother group, cause Atz is under KQ while Block B is under Seven Seasons (which is under KQ) :')

For me, as someone who Stan all 6 of those teams (this is very painful btw I don't know if I'll survive but heh) my ranking is 1 the boyz, 2 skz (the only thing that made me chose tbz for first is just preference in the style both were absolutely amazing 3 ikon, like yes I get that the choreo was not as outstanding as some other group but their charisma really make it up for them imo 4 ateez amazing perf as well but to be faire I feel like the style of it was close to skz and skz made me forget about them :/ it also felt very short I don't know if it's cuz of the intro or what but yeah 5 btob I mean they killed it but it's very hard to compare and you shouldn't have to compare a vocal perf to dancing but 6 sf9 I DON'T GET WHY THE LONG AS INTRO WTF SF9 I'm so mad why would they waste half of the time walking 😭😭😔 its so infuriating when you know how talented they are But yeah I think the whole global voting stuff is a mess, they didnt do it for queendom until the final (if I'm correct) and road to kingdom wich in my opinion is way more fair, like road to kingdom was so peaceful between the fandom and kingdom is already a mess. Also the first voting was a mess, I think around 350000 person got to watch the perf and more than 1million voted so it's clearly a popularity contest and not based on the perf, also ranking seems weird because people had to vote for 3team and they gave their other 2 votes to team that they thought are not a threat to their fav so yeah a mess Anyway ranting is done but if tbz place last I'll riot

Yay Thx for the reaction :D If you have Viki the vid there was more stable (at least for me XD) About the voting: it sadly is definitely not unbiased lol We all had to vote 3 teams and most made multiple accounts to vote and give their fav group the most votes. I preferred the introduction round evaluation of Road To Kingdom where it was just all the groups ranking each other without fan-involvement until later rounds ^^ And to filming: only the last round is totally live filmed, all earlier episodes are filmed a few weeks before airing ^^

I agree with you on this. There is not much gap between votes because of this. I used my ticket (unbiased as possible) voting for three groups I think did best. Strategically though, you have to vote your ult group then the unrivaled groups. You can vote however you want but it can definitely affect the rankings.

I think the voting results were so unexpected because you had 3 votes, and you could not use all 3 for one team, you had to vote for 3 separate teams. So there were fandoms really trying to push strategic voting, basically voting for your bias group then for who you think wouldn’t be that popular in comparison, or making multiple accounts and splitting your extra 2 votes among the other 5 groups (which I think ended up inflating those groups unintentionally?). I think the system was in effort to make voting more evenly distributed by groups instead of a pure popularity vote but it really created some wonky results.

Just finished watching this, yeah i was just as shocked at the results. As a stay ofcourse i will be biased towards stray kids i think they killed it, but really all groups are so talented they all did so well. unfortunately this is the last episode where hyunjin appears because of the latest issue surrounding him :( i really hope he comes back in later episodes. Just so you know the last stage will be a comeback stage meaning stray kids too will have a comeback at the end of kingdom, so hyunjin has to be there T_T btw they are filming the 3rd episode of kingdom right now as we speak and the filming takes at least 20 hours..

I think if debut 2016 is mean 5 years ago not 3, coz if 3 years ago should debut in the same time with skz, in 2018

there is a rumour that in in the video what will be next time, groups are sitting on the stairs by their ranking....so, it could be interesting....as a STAY, of course, I prefer SKZ, but all the groups were doing great and I hope that nobody will be hurt and hiatus members of groups and hosts will come back at least for the finale performance! .-)

Some of them do know each other. Stray kids are pretty close with ateez especially Changbin and wooyoung are really good friends and well chan is friends with everybody it seems lmao for example peniel from btob have known him since he started training cause peniel used to be in jyp. Tvxq debuted all the way back in 2003 so they are really seniours hahah. Han falling was scary wow but they were so professional and it gladly went well in the actual performance and han hyunjin minho and chan doing flips wow. Also the performances were aired live infebruary on youtube so fans voted based on those. I loved all of the performances it would be the best if there was no ranking😂

There was some mistakes in the subtitle, SF9 debuted 4 years ago October 5th 2016, not 6 years ago. 7 out of the 9 members of SF9 are also actors that's what they meant by solo activity but Rowoon (the one who couldn't perform from back injury that he had since their last comeback and because of his acting schedule) and Chani are the most known for it. Their last comeback was in July 2020 with Summer Breeze.
