I don’t think Jyp favors skz more than g7,if you following all Jyp boy group like me , from 2pm,g7,d6 they all got the same process about making their song, even d6 made almost 100 songs before company accepted Congratulations as their debut song ,same as 2pm , after 6years debut they just made their own song as tittle track ,many of their songs had been rejected by company, we don’t know what happening in the back company door, maybe a lot skz’s song get rejected too that’s why we have skz player , good song but still not good enough for included in the album 🤷🏼‍♀️ and for lack promotion, every Jype boy group get that,even a lot new K-POP fans don’t know that 2pm still very active,JunK released mini album and no promotion at all not even went to music show if you are not hottest you will not known that, and is common for 7years old group get a little promotion because they are in the stage just release album, 2weeks promotion and doing concerts, the company will focus for new debut group. This is just my opinion though,don’t know what the exactly happening,wish company give the boy groups the proper promotion, groups must be big hit in Korea first and tv Korea will invite them

Stray Kids dont really suffer from mistreatment, but they do suffer from mismanagement. Similar to GOT7, Stray Kids don't get any promotion. Their fanbase is probably about 90-95% international and 5-10% domestic. The amount of Korean Stays is really small and a lot of that is because of lack of promotion. Its not really a surprise though because JYPE has a history of not doing much for their boy groups.

Got7 and SKZ,although they're in same company, they are in the different task force,that's why their treatment is so different. I'm glad the SKZ team very values their talent and personality.

i would like to point out that Stray Kids have a heavily western sound, though, which plays into their lack of popularity in South Korea sadly. South Korea has a very specific sound they enjoy and NCT also struggle a bit more with korean fans and publicity because their sound is western as well. Of course, NCT is a bit more popular in Korea I think. (but jyp isn't helping much either with the lack of promotions...)

I mean there are some issues too with stray Kids regarding promotions and stuff. They are from Jyp, a big 3 company, so that means they normally should have gotten attention from Koreans immediately after debut. However, Jype completely ignored domestic promotion and focused on international promotion 100% which lead to the Korean public not knowing that they even exist. I.N once told us, it was around double knot era which was 1 and a half years after their debut, that he got scouted by other companies that thought he was still a trainee, because they hadn't heard of stray kids. And you know, other companies usually really keep an eye on who's debuting and stuff so that was really sad to hear. So yeah that was and somewhat is definitely and issue, however, this year Stray Kids division, division 1 have really stepped up their game, they changed a lot and both their international and domestic promotion have upgraded a ton. Division 1 is really putting a lot of effort and thought into stray Kids currently, you can really tell. So I'm very grateful about that and am hoping to see even more improvements so that skz can finally get a bigger domestic fanbase.

Yeah, and actually, that may be also how their contract work, since before survival show, their main goal for it was to show the people that jype has a group that can produce songs in their own, so personally, if they control skz music wise, the image the company built may crumble. One thing that the company neglects from skz (my personal opinion) is promotion. The kids really lack domestic promotion. during gods menu, they only did idol radio and asc( asc is more for rookie groups) and that's it. all the fame they got during that era and back door was more from their music and mv being good. hopefully, kingdom continues and they get a lot of domestic promotion and gain korean fans through it

It’s rare to have idols orosuce and write music it’s getting more common but it’s still rare and usually they only have credits for a couple of songs. So it’s even more rare to have idols trainees who already prosuce and write since usually that happens later in their career. So for example for got7 jype had all the cotrol in the beginng and when the memebers wanted to participate later on i feel like they didn’t want to loose that control but for stray kids since they already did that from the beginning they just let them do their thing.
