[He Is Psychometric] Ep.3 | NSD REACTION

Comments

It's my first time commenting here since I just changed tier. I binge watched the 3 episodes 😊 It's fun to rewatch the series with you guys, this is actually my 3rd time watching this 😂😂 Also, abit TMI but I can totally relate to Kevin cause I really want to pee while watching the 4 mins of the video and I didn't want to pause. You guys should finish this whole drama before you start watching Got2day season 3 because there were some episodes where they were discussing this and there are spoilers

My first time commenting! He is Psychometric is actually the very first kdrama I ever watched! Not gonna lie I stopped after the first 3 episodes cuz (like u guys can probably tell) the drama is pretty hard to follow especially for someone who had never watched a kdrama before haha.. This drama definitely takes a lot of thinking and remembering, and there are a lot of character backstories and character relationships that might be hard to remember lol, so I'm glad we're watching it with you! Not long after I tried to watch this drama I fell into the kdrama hole haha, I've watched sooo many dramas now, and recognizing faces/following storylines gets easier the more dramas you watch cuz you kinda get used to the drama that's unique to korean shows. Yeah anyways I came back to this drama a couple months ago and finally watched it all the way through- it's such an amazing one to watch! A perfect mix of comedy, romance, and thriller. So glad you're checking it out and you're reactions are hilarious!

Holly

I've heard about acid attacks happening all around the world so it's not just in Korea😕 To be completely honest I haven't heard about it happening in Korea😅

Ida Jansson

Hi Ida, is this about my comment?? I was trying my best to be careful. I think the episode showed the cases and that everyone is stabbed the same way. But if its a spoiler, I will gladly, delete it. 😊

PennyG

First time watching a drama with you guys! Thank you for finally watching He Is Psychometric! It’s my second time watching it and you guys are really good at picking up things. 👍🏼 Has anyone mentioned when Jinyoung was trying to understand the character of Lee An, he looked to references in his real life. He found the person in his life that was closest to Lee An was Bambam because they both handle hardship well and play it off in a cheerful way. 🤣🤣🤣 I can see it now!

I'm gonna put [...] between my thoughts so you can tell what's connected and what's not... might help... The video breaks, and Kevin gets dizzy... Amazing... Did you eat anything that day, tho? Like, before you started recording? [...] I love how when they can't remember who someone is, they just go "We're not supposed to know." [...] When I first saw the tire popping scene, I thought: "In real life, that's instant karma. In a drama, it means somebody bouta die..." [...] I think "acid attacks" are a (somewhat) common thing in Korea... I've never heard of that happening AT ALL outside of Korean media (Kdramas and a random news thing I stumbled across)... [...] NotSoRandom thought: (Yes, I enjoy doing that.) I can NOT... for the LIFE OF ME... understand why they never detain a criminal unless its for like murder or they think they'll flee the country... I also heard they do it if they "think it's likely that they'll destroy evidence"... and SOMEHOW they normally don't think they will... IF THE PERSON COMMITTED A CRIME, THEY'RE PROBABLY GONNA DESTROY THE EVIDENCE... I mean... come ON... that's just common sense... They're already breaking the law... Why WOULDN'T they destroy the evidence of their crime if they're walking around free... I mean... From what I've understood, they're not even monitored once they get to leave... Such an illogical system... [...] Kevin: "The fact she remembered that..." Me: "Yes... because her brian works..." *In reference to when Kevin said he can't remember stuff because his brain doesn't work right* And YES... I remember that too [...] David: "How is that a thing?!?" *From when they let the teacher go because it was an "attempted assault" I don't know either!!! Like, HERE, if you manage to STOP someone from harming another person, the attacker is STILL treated the same way as if they succeeded. Because they had the INTENT... There, it's like: "Until you succeed, you shall be freed." The assailant can keep trying because they let them go if no one got hurt... INCOMPREHENSIBLE... It's like they're saying they don't care about the victim until they get hurt... I will say that in that way, I'd say that it feels like the American criminal justice system is focused on PREVENTING more crime by focusing on the intent and balancing the crime with the punishment. In Korea, it feels more reminiscent of giving someone a timeout in daycare... They have a statutes of limitations on most serious crimes, and ONLY just removed the statute of limitations on murder in 2015... But I think I read that they STILL can't arrest people for crimes committed BEFORE the statute was removed... Like... I read that there are a LOT of cases that can't be "closed" because they discovered who the criminal was after the statute of limitations expried... One of the examples I read about was a serial killer who was in jail for killing his sister couldn't be charged for the other murders... Ya'll should see this... Sentencing for murder: https://sc.scourt.go.kr/sc/engsc/guideline/criterion_01/murder_01.jsp Sentencing in general: https://sc.scourt.go.kr/sc/engsc/index.jsp [...] David: "I think it falls under assult." Me: "Yes... most states define assault based on INTENT not on success." [...] Kevin: "I think they're gonna end up together too." David: "Ah, it's gonna be cute, bro." Me: *smiles* "It's starting again~" [...] Kevin: "The game is a foot" 😂🤣😂🤣😂That pun tho!!!😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂 [...] I'm posting this before I finish watching because I had to stop watching to deal with a burst pipe in my mom's laundry room...

Oh one more thing! I totally agree! Jinyoung really made me forget that it's Jinyoung acting lol When I watched the drama I wasn't rooting for Lee Ahn because it was Jinyoung at all LOL I was just rooting for him because of his character. Lee Ahn is Lee Ahn I don't even see it's Jinyoung! Considering how much of GOT7 content I watch on a daily basis and how many years I have biased him, he really did a wonderful job making me forget he is Jinyoung acting LOL (But of coz the 15+ years I watch K-drama is like 4 times longer than me being a GOT7 fan lol So if the drama isn't good even Jinyoung is in it I can't force myself to watch it haha, I may only watch a cut. He is Psychometric was really a good show that I can vouch for and can't shut up about hahaha it was one of the top 8 shows I liked in 2019)

Wanwanwhen

Wanted to comment on some subtle things: I love how they make Ahn's character seems silly but he is very fast with observations especially when it's about humanity and emotions, which is very inline with his background (Someone who grew up seeing dirty secrets of others and being bullied, it's natural they had to be more sensitive to the people around them). For example, he understands Jae In is allowing and slightly misleading others to think she is from a wealthy high class family to have an easier life immediately. He notices Jae In's hands were shaking after the math teacher incident. It shows that he is very caring and observant. Small scripts and actions give hints on who Lee Ahn is as a person. For example, when he talked to DaeBong, he said "I can read you but hid secrets from me? I hated people with two faces the most". That's because he has been reading people's dirty secrets and ugly faces behind their masks all his life, he tends to not trust people's "external" faces. Or that when he picked up the candy can, Jinyoung made a small face with his eyes closing. That was consistent with his ability that he can see things he doesn't want to see when touching hence he always put his sleeves up. But because what he read from the candy can is unrelated to the plot, so the director didn't film it. But they didn't forget to film Ahn's subtle facial expression to convey his habits and abilities in small places. It really helped make the characters so much more believable. They did that with White Snow the puppy too - he touches the puppy and he knew that it was abandoned and what's the name cos he can read it from the puppy's memory. Also that's the reason why Ahn was accused of stealing the answers from the math test, because he was in the school at 5:30am. Ahn said, he doesn't like being on the bus so he always go to school early to avoid the peak traffic time. This also is so consistent with his personality - he doesn't want to see the dirty and ugliness in humanity from random strangers so he avoid being on the crowded bus where he could potentially touch someone. I just remember I was so shocked that Seungmo was not there for Ahn the whole time but he only came back to him after missing all this years. I can imagine how much Ahn had been bullied growing up to the point he had to learn to fight so well in order to protect himself and how lonely he was growing up because even his hyung abandoned him (so the idea of everyone around him left was even more valid to him). Those subtle things are even down to the way he fights - he uses his face as the punching bag to take the other guy's punch - the type of self-destructive moves by taking down another person by hurting himself, is so suiting for Lee Ahn's background. Loved the fact that the first thing Ahn said to his hyung after he came back was "I have missed you" but also broke my heart. He didn't blame him for anything, and he wasn't holding his angst but he immediately showed hyung his heart. It really shows you who Lee Ahn as a person is. If you show him some goodness he really repays you selflessly with all his love and cares.

Another great episode! Love how David’s hair almost looks like Jae In’s hair haha. Wish you both the best! Ps: Love how you pronounce my name David, even tho it is far from how I would have said it haha! But if David says it that way, then I guess it is! Nothing but love <3

David! I love how your hair looks today! I mean, you guys always look amazing, but David's hair looks especially gorgeous today! I'm glad we're getting episodes each week, tho maybe you might not see comments from me in all episodes because I sometimes can't watch the reaction the day it is released, but still I always watch it through the week and have a great time. I was laughing so hard when you guys lost it over aunt and sancudo hahaha From here on the drama's pace starts to go up and everything gets more interesting. I'm so excited to see this drama again and also see your reactions! Love you and see you next week! Felices fiestas! 💜

Meruka Hinaru

Hey guys...I hope you had a great Christmas. I surely had...my niece got her first BTS merchandise and she was so happy. Your reaction was a treat on this Sunday morning. I was so bored tbh. That episode is one of my favorites as well...bc now you will get more pieces of the puzzle. At first they seem random but they start to fit better together with each new episode. Seeing Kevin getting dizzy wasn't really funny. Hope you are doing well by now. If it's too much, take a break. Hope you have the opportunity to spend the rest of the year quietly. Stay healthy and love you 💜💜

Vanessa Squintu

Don't know if the last part is necessary for them to know now... It will clear up later. NOT trying to come off as rude in any way!! But a lot of details will make sense later and it makes it more entertaining to watch if you don't know everything beforehand😕

Ida Jansson

remember laws are different in different countries guys XD

appryntice

Hey guys! Hope you had a great Christmas and happy holidays! First, forgive me in advance, because I'm super sleep deprived and only got like 2 hrs of sleep before I woke up for NCT's online live concert which started at 1am EST for me lol so I'm super tired and not really fully awake watching this now at 6am or writing this. I always get a kick out of watching you guys read the comments, you have so much fun and it's fun to watch you guys! This episode was wild! I don't fully understand everything that happened myself, so I'll keep any predictions or observations out of this so I don't sound like an idiot. All I have to say is that math teacher is CRAZY and I don't understand how he was let go even if it was only attempted assault. Like there was cameras, he was violent and had malicious intent and motive, and it was ACID!? Also the arson crime is only growing and it is very intriguing. I feel sorry for An's friend Daebong because dude was really getting abused by his dad and it's like no one cared smh. [Actually fell asleep writing this, why do I make these bad choices] Jinyoung's fight scenes are really good, I think I remember seeing somewhere that he practiced a lot for those! I'm very impressed. Also his acting, which we already knew was good, but...that dog scene. I'm not ashamed to admit I cried, but that may also be because I was exhausted. I was NOT expecting that 2 year jump at all, that's super cool. I'm really looking forward to next week and seeing what happens! Question: What do you guys think about An's brother? Because I like Prosecutor Kang, but idk someting about him rubs me the wrong way lol that mask poster scene also made me suspicious. I don't know if I think he is the culprit, but I agree that he definitely knows something. He's just so suspicious to me idk. Anyway sorry for rambling, see you guys next week! Stay healthy and safe and don't work too hard! :)

Heya- I finished this show just yesterday and wheeeeewwwwww. What an awesome emotional roller coaster of a show, and I'm enjoying watching the episodes over knowing the story. And I agree, pausing is essential, which is what I did. Missing one line of dialogue can mean missing a huge hint to a plot point. Take care!

Cass

No Dae-Bong's dad is abusive, he truly beats his ass and not because the school asked that of him. And yeah, the math teacher is an ass. He was let go because he had a clean record and it was his first offense and seeing as she had no lawyer let alone money, Jae-in had no way of going through with charges. Which to me is bullshit, it just gives people like him room to do worse. Also, think back to the first episode. The lady rushing out of the apartment, and suddenly hiding when she notices a man she clearly didn't want to notice her. It's the same man that popped the caregiver's tires and killed that man. It's a puzzle.

Donta Scarlett

yes, I am March! thank you for noticing☺ ayyy I love Bob's Burger, one of my fav shows💓 I am so humoured by the Eeyore😂 I think the pronouncing of the name as Ee-an is ok, it's pretty straightforward. also why do I feel like Kevin would love the idea of an existing town full of Kevins😂 for me if I get dizzy suddenly, it would be because my blood pressure is low. I'm sure it's been hard for your eyes to stare at screens for a long period of time. I hope you guys are getting enough sleep, take rests whenever you need to. take care!💚

Marxh

This doesn't really have anything to do with the episode or the drama but more of a request/recommandation😊 To make sure that there are no spoilers or anything in the future, since the drama is gonna pic up it's speed now, could everyone make sure that there are no direct or indirect spoilers when you comment?? It hasn't happened yet but you never know. I just want everyone to have the same experience watching this drama for the first time😊 If you comment it could be about stuff that happened in that episode or that has already be mentioned in earlier episodes. If you're unsure if it could be interpreted as a spoiler it might be good to jut leave it out just incase😊 For example thing's and details that haven't been cleared up yet but you know will come up in later episodes. Hopefully this won't come off as rude or picky but I want everyone that is watching it for the first time to have a genuine experiece! It makes it so much more fun to watch a kdrama id you don't know everythong beforehand😊 And if anyone is curios about what is going to happen it's easy to google or look up the episodes😊

Ida Jansson

I'm pretty sure I know which drama you're talking about! But I'm not gonna say, just to kept the mystery going hehehe

Ida Jansson

Alright, just to clarify a few scenes, remember Daebong saved So Hyeon because he doesnt want everyone to know that she is pregnant? He was punished for that by the school and his dad physically abused him because of that. Regarding the Kim Gab Yong (the one murdered) he is not really a doctor lol, but as you can see, he sort of takes care of the caregiver (the owner of the ring). He already testified after the Hanmin fire but he was called again by the Detective Brother to sort a few things before they close the case. Unfortunately he was murdered. The chain attached to him doesnt make sense, because it wasnt attached to anything, so the murderer is challenging/giving a hint to the prosecutors through the chain. Because of that, detective brother noticed that Kim Gabyong was stabbed the same way the others are stabbed in the Hanmin Fire and the YongSeong Fire (the fire where Lee Ahns parents died). So basically, everything connects and you just have to find out how. Goodluck Guys!!

HELLO!!!!! It's heeeeeeEeeeereeeee!!! Kevin: "I thought it was 3000." Me: "What?!?" David: "It's 5000. How do you not know?" Me: "Exactly..." David: "Now, you know who really cares about you..." Me: "I'll say... Kevin thought it was 3000... He ruined Arrow for me... UNBELIEVABLE!!!" I'm joking... Don't get upset Kevin... ... ... ... HOW in the WORLD does a SHOW make you feel claustrophobic?!? You're looking at a screen, but you feel like you're in a tight, crowded space?!? HOW?!? I'm so confused, and I REALLY wanna know!!! David... I think David just got possessed for a split second, came to his senses, and proceeded to find him actions ABSOLUTELY ridiculous.... As he SHOULD... "Hella funny tho" Why'd David's Kevin impression just made his voice DROP?!? Honestly... I think you guys should just focus on following the major parts of the storyline instead of analyzing everything and trying to figure it out... You'll probably catch more that way, and you won't suffer as much... Just use your instinct and remember that these kinds of shows are ALWAYS trying to give extra info to make you draw the wrong answer and keep you on your toes As someone who's trying to become a teacher, I honestly think the students going to the teachers is better... That system teaches students responsibility, allows teachers to keep all their necessary resources in the same room, makes it easier for the students to FIND the teacher they're looking for, and helps each student tailor their schedule instead of being pushed into the same route as everyone else in the class. Not everyone learns the same, and they don't all wanna take the same classes. Giving students that freedom not only helps them learn, but also prepares them for college, because that's how it works EVERYWHERE I'm pretty sure the man in the car was a MOVER... He is most likely irrelevant to the story... How can someone be so right and so wrong at the same time?!? (I WILL NOT tell you what I'm talking about, but those who know, know. And if you know, you were probably freaking out too...) "Honestly, this whole drama is a rollercoster-one." Um... Me thinks the video just cut @24:13 Yes, I put a time stamp... but it was for a GOOD REASWON!!! (Babytalk... I know it's "reason"...I did not spell it wrong) I LOVE rollercoasters... *dramatic gasp* WHAT?!? I didn't put the name of the drama?!? How did that happen?!? Kevin: "You are trolling." Yes... I was trolling... Wait... did you want to know the name of the drama? You didn't actually wanna know did you? It already has 3 seasons (season 4 recently confirmed)... I GUESS you could get away with only watching the first one... but if you watch the second one, you have to watch the third... PERIOD. You could also stop after the third... but why would you? *End of Comments*

Destorer5000

@00:49:40 To clarify what happened with Lee An's friend. Lee An and his friend got involved in the whole cheating scandal with the math exam which led the school to call the friend's parents. Because of the situation with the math teacher the dad had to pay the school money so that his son wouldn't be expelled. That resulted in his dad beating him up because he had to spend money. The dad did not tell the school that he would beat him up, he was just mad that he had to spend money. When he say's that he at least didn't use the golf club it kind of hints at the dad beating him more than once... so sad. And this relates to what I commented on the last episode with parents bribing the school! The friends's dad bribed the school so that he wouldn't be expelled and the other kids that cheated got sent abroad so that it wouldn't blow up and hinder the kids in the future. Like Lee An said, "Life is indeed easy if you're rich". ......................................... I totally agree with you!! The teacher should have been locked up! He's really a horrible person. ......................................... The guy, Mr Kim, that was in the hospital and was called by the brother was the witness for the Hanlim fire, he's not a doctor. He was interrogated in episode 1. He was called so that they could fact check some details for the case but was killed on the way there. ...................................... The scene where he finds the dog always breaks my heart... He felt abandoned by Seong Mo after he left him alone at the orphanage and that everyone he touches leave him. Can it get any sadder than that? Jinyoung's acting is so good and he can convey the right emotions so well!! ...................................... Both surprised and proud that David caught on that it was Jae In that walked in at the end!! Well done!!

Ida Jansson

I'm back with my bad explanations😅 You pronounce Sweden as "we", so as it's spelled. The names Kevin and David is sort of common here in Sweden as well😊
