agreed, though kind of the opposite. Mine would be nct > exo > shinee. So i enjoy SuperM's a bit more. My main problem with the group is the scheduling and exhaustion it's clearly causing on the members, especially those who are clearly promoting and doing a lot (Taemin, Baehyun, Mark, Lucas). And there is so much guilt that fans give others simplying for not liking superm or the idea of it. It's honestly ridiculous. It's such a cool idea, but i also dislike that they did only the popular members when it could've been a cool idea to do the ones who dont get a lot of lines or just isnt as popular and this allows them to shine more, idk. Like Suho, Sehun, Winwin, Yuta, Johnny, Jeno and then just add Taemin since he's the only one that could've been in superm since the others were in the military. This couldve been an interesting group. Sehun and Jeno could rap, we have some great vocalists. Winwin, Yuta and Taemin could dance...

Personally, I have nothing against the SuperM members since I like the members and the groups they come from. The only thing I dislike about this project is SM's strategy of promoting them. They're taking shortcuts. Instead of letting a fanbase grow organically, they took popular people to bring their fans in. There was a lot of guilt tripping involved with many comments like "if you're a fan of EXO and Kai and Baekhyun, you SHOULD stan SuperM too." That disregards a very important part of being a fan, which is the music part. My music preference in order of group music would be EXO -> SHINee -> NCT. Above all, I love EXO vocal colors and harmonies (like I love Super Junior and GG vocals too). The music of SuperM, to me, is closest to NCT's with the bigger rap portions. I've never been a fan of rap, even with the EXO discog I never listen to Full Moon and the other less vocal heavy/more hiphop songs. So no matter how cool the people, it's very hard for me to stan a group when I can't enjoy their music. I get though that there are a lot of fans that actually stan more for the personalities, that's why vlives are such a big thing now. I see no problems with that, just let people stan or not stan without guilt. If I don't buy SuperM albums, it's not called a boycott it's simply not being a fan and having limited purchasing power.

Hey Victoria! Yes it did count as we recorded with that intention, we didnt think people would mind and as we noticed it was split on whether or not it's okay. We wont do it again though as we understand why people dont see it as Kai/Baekhyun content, and we'll probably do an extra EXO video on Sunday on YT in the future 👌

There are definitely HUGE fan wars over SuperM so while I absolutely adore them as I love EXO, NCT, WayV and Shinee, I would not recommend replacing an EXO video with SuperM. They dropped a mini album with Jopping, I'm not sure if y'all did a listen to that but it was pretty good. For this comeback, these are the singles and they'll be dropping the album full album on the 25th. You could probably check out some SuperM videos in your "random video" slot, for like funny videos you could do "SuperM being extra crackhead and funny for 14 minutes straight" or "The M in SuperM stands for mayhem". They also did a reality show, it's an hour and 23 minutes but it's only one episode, you can find it on YouTube and this specific one has the best English subs "[*BEST* ENG] 191025 SuperM The Beginning 1080p FULL [mr.virtue].mp4" so you could check that out if you wanted to!

Also about nct, i dont think youd have to drop a group to check them out? like why not just replace the random videos in the youtube schedule with them or not react to bts 4 times a week? you dont have to add them to patreon reactions right away but i feel like you can definitely do youtube, just my thoughts

i love superm and its good for you guys to see these, but yes like others are saying its not right as a substitute for an exo video. as you can see, people are already bringing up their issues. (but stan superm..they work so hard and dont deserve hate bc of fandom disagreements)

Another problem people have with SuperM is that this group creates more tensions with solo stans. You've got people who are only fans of SuperM and don't care about the groups the members are from. You also have fans from these different groups decide to stan certain members more i.e. some fans are just Baekhyun fans but not EXO fans. Then you have fans who support all the members in their respective groups who clash with these solo stans.

Hey guys! These may not work as substitutes for EXO video reviews. The issue is that quite a lot of the fans from the various groups (Shinee, EXO, NCT) in SuperM aren't fans of SuperM. There's been controversy since this group started. Lots of the fans from the different groups don't support SuperM because they think SuperM takes time, energy, money, etc. from the respective groups.
