2020-08-25 00:14:30 +0000 UTCI honestly don't think she has led him on and never flirted with him. Yeah she did say that he should take over Jangga but like secs later, she said she was kidding. Although she shouldn't have hurt his feelings like that, she clearly was joking. But I could see how that motivated him to take over Jangga. Also, she has taken advantage of his feelings once when she asked him to leave Danbam and convince his dad to leave Saeroyi alone or something like that (I think it was in ep 8) but again, in the same episode, she apologised and when Geun soo said " But I still like you the way you are", she made it clear to him that she likes Saeroyi. Geun soo is just blinded by love tbh but I don't blame him as it is not his fault that he likes her and he can't just stop liking her over night. I do feel sorry for him tho.

He's definitely gone too far, but the way Yiseo treated him and kept leading him on was ridiculous. I'd be more on her side if she didnt constantly flirt and purposely take advantage of his feelings...yiseo and guensoo are both my favorite characters, but their dynamic was always frustrating :/ she took advantage of his feelings and he went too far; it's very sad.

You'd really be missing out xD And it seems like it's ok not to be ok is gonna win the next poll, but honestly I really really want you guys to watch extracurricular as well. It aired a few months ago and geunsoo's actor plays the lead role in it. It's arguably darker and crazier and maybe more realistic than Itaewon class or maybe not? I'm not sure lol. But it speaks about very important topics as well. Especially bc of recent events in Korea. It's been 2 weeks since I've finished it but I still can't stop thinking about it, it def. left an impression on me. So if not with the next poll, I really hope you'll watch it in the future.

Also, if you're planning on watching another kdrama, i recommend Goblin. It's one of the biggest kdramas in korea, it did so well south korea went through something called post-goblin depression. i shit you not they mentioned it in so many varieties its actually a thing. you've probably heard of it cos thats the drama the national representative was from in pdx101. it's one of my favs and i really hope kevin will put it in the poll for next time. Anyway imma go to sleep now coz i have work at 5am tomorrow. Love you guys xx

2020-08-23 18:23:25 +0000 UTCI LOVE THE NEW LAYOUT! (I guess when you read this it won't be that new anymore, but still) OMG DAVID! I've been binge watching Glow Up for the past week! We are connected 🤣 I'm on EP3 from S2, it's the one with the theatre Makeup! I love Glow Up, it's really competitive and fierce, but so chill and full of love at the same time. I love how everyone hugs and is happy when someone wins a challenge. And LOL, David catching flies like A NINJA. It's so funny how we all try really hard to catch flies and are so determined to kill that motherlover, but when we really DO CATCH IT......UGGGH! At least I start squealing like crazy hahaha Specially when it's all smudged in my hand uugggh, gross. And don't you guys find it SO ANNOYING when you are asleep and SUDDENLY there's a fly buzzing in your ear?! DISGUSTING! Anyway, high five to David for your ninja skills! ✋ Fun fact about subtitles, I was born, raised and currently live in Mexico, so of course my first language is Spanish, but I CAN'T read Spanish subtitles, they are SO LONG! 😩 I always turn on English subs when I'm watching anything, it's easier and faster to read than Spanish. I struggle SO MUCH when my parents watch series or movies that are in another language, for example in German or Russian and turn on Spanish subs, I'm like OH GOD PLEASE SLOW DOWN! Have you guys tried watching a Chinese movie/drama with Spanish subs? IT'S HELL! 😵 Chinese words/ideas are expressed in really short sentences, so the Spanish subs just flash on the screen like an EDM party, they go so fast it feels they just go on at x4 speed haha Don't worry Kevin, I was so good in calculus at Highschool and now I have to count with my fingers, otherwise I can't add 🤣 It's been almost 6 years since I graduated UNI, but since I went to Art UNI, it's actually been like 10 years since I did math. So nope, I already used that math storage in my brain to learn all K-pop related things such as real names from idols and song lyrics in Korean, no space left for math at all. The little math left in me is used to pay bills and taxes haha 😞 Now, finally getting into the episode, the "thing" the alcohol guy bought at the store are charcoal bricks, they are pretty common in Korea, you can buy them anywhere. People use them to warm their homes in winter/cook, etc....but sadly it's also a very common method of suicide, because it liberates a lot of carbon dioxide, so people light a bunch of them up at night and that's how they pass away in their sleep from carbon dioxide overdose. They don't mention this on the drama, so if you are not familiar with it, it makes sense you were confused. Toni's scene at the hospital always makes me cry. Chris is such a great actor, you can feel Toni's pain and sadness at the realization that he can't meet his dad anymore. Even though it's sad, I'm so happy he has a grandma now! He still found family in the end, it's very heartwarming 💜 It made me miss my grandma, she was a very dedicated and generous person, always putting everybody else's needs first before her own. Even as a grownup, she'd always feed me a home cooked meal every time I visited her. Well actually, she cooked like 5 meals for me in just one visit, my grandma wanted everyone in the family fat haha 🤣 And those last minutes of the episode also got me emotional! I felt sympathy for Yi Seo. She knew all along that Saeroyi didn't had feelings for her and she was willing to wait two more years to even get a shot with Saeroyi, but hearing the person you love say things like "No, I never had feelings for her" or "No, don't like me back" straight to your face must be so heartbreaking. I know what happens next and it's FRUSTRATING I can't tell you guys about it, but I'm excited to see your reactions. The Best Pub Arc is my favorite! Because I love food and I love Hyun Yi so much. I can't spoil, but it's going to be intense! But hey, all Itaewon Class has been pretty intense to this point haha Thank you for your reaction, even though the episode was bittersweet, this week's reaction was really fun to watch! That's why the old lady got so mad at him for having the intention to do so. Man, so much is happening in this episode. I just want to say that I really admire the talent those actors have. The scene towards the end, oh my... the look on SRY's face, that facial expression when Yi Seo says she loves him...the shock, the confusion, it's all there. It feels bad, but it just can't be helped that he doesn't feel the same towards her. And to see a strong, badass character like her (a sociopath on top of that) breaks down and cries like that...ah, my heart... and the background song just adds to the feelings...sob sob
