Yes N/S stands for North and South. I am not 100% sure about the meaning of the song though. It could be interpreted in different ways. Both the video for N/S and My side were filmed in Thailand, so not it's not Korea haha. Now that I think about it, I'm pretty sure all street version videos were filmed outside of Korea except for 'Question'. The Rock video was filmed in Japan, Boxer, as well as Mixtape 4, were filmed in Australia. My side and N/S in Thailand and Insomnia was filmed in New York.

So here's what hero's soup is about. In Korea, it is a cultural norm to drink with your coworkers after work to maintain a good relationship. Hero's soup is a popular hangover soup that you'd eat in the morning after drinking and also in times of hardship to feel refreshed. Changbin's verse: ''Last night, dad was dressed in a suit and smelt like he was full of worry and concerns'' The father in this song is carrying the responsibilities to make a living as the head of the family. Him, eating the soup represents the hardships he goes through. And the son at first doesn't know or understands why his father eats this soup every day (doesn't understand his fathers hardships) but as the son grows older he realizes the meaning behind it and understands what his father goes through. This was kinda difficult to explain I hope you got the gist of it haha It's very personal and pretty different from what they usually do. And I agree that it's a song that you need to be in a specific mood for but I don't think that's a bad thing haha. If I am in the mood for it I LOVE this song, it has a very dreamy feeling and makes me very nostalgic but also feel at peace.
