Also the eve!! Is named the way it is as it's the first track on the album and is the 'eve' of 'the 'war' (name of the non-repackaged album). The war that it refers to is the fight that is shown in the power mv :D Bit confusing but I promise they've made it make sense HAHAHAH

Touch it and Chill are part of the broadway/bar set in the elyxion. That’s my favorite set in that concert because it was such a musical production. Goong Crazy is kind of like a bonus song because they’ve had that song since before they debuted and it finally got released after 5 or so yrs.

The eve is actually better live than when you hear it from the album. I feel like it has more impact when they perform it.

With regards to the members participating in the lyrics/composition/production etc. of their albums, it's really hard to be approved if you are a part of SM. They don't have a lot of liberty in that regard on account of the company wanting to release the best possible music that will be widely accepted. What the members (of any SM group not just Exo) go through in order for their songs (lyrics/compositions) to be approved is essentially a huge panel where their work gets anonymously put in alongside other people's work (so there's no bias regarding who wrote it) and only the best of all those actually gets chosen. So having an artist participate in the writing/production of an album is actually something to be really proud of because out of all the options available they were chosen. There's also more liberty the longer you are in the company and have sort of solidified your position within, ex. BoA, TVXQ, SuJu (they have their own sub-label within SM). Chanyeol and Sehun really pushed for their sub-unit and wrote and produced the entire album themselves. They didn't get much promotion because it was more of a side-project that they both wanted to do to express themselves and experiment with music. A lot of other artists within the company have done similar things or have branched out through youtube/soundcloud where they write and release their own music outside of the company.

손짓 literally translates to "movement of the hand" and (from what I've seen others say) is one of those almost slang like words that's meaning is hard to translate into English. Translations suck at times (being bilingual is so *fun* at times, Spanish to/from English is an adventure I'm sure you both know) but I guess "gesture" is the best way to translate it. According to Chen during their vlive premiere/release of the album, he wanted to write the lyrics describing the emotions of elation(?) that fans feel from just seeing even just a simple hand motion of their favorite idols, but flip the perspective and have it be about idols to fans. (kinda weird to me but sure I guess) Everyone has their own theories about what its really written about and there are also memes about it cause the lyrics sound lowkey sexual (like even the Korean ones)

It's a real shame the audio cut out on you, but for the songs where we can here you (including the ones at the end) were great. I'm glad you seemed to enjoy it (it's got some of my favourite songs on it). Kai's tattoos were temporary, it's not uncommon for the members to have temporary tattoos for their albums/promotions/concerts, I think Chanyeol is the only member with real tattoos? (Correct me if I'm wrong people)

Please feel free to like/dislike any songs. :-) I can only think of the choreography for 'The EVE', 'Sweet Lies', and 'Touch it' whenever I listen to them. Also 'Touch It' is Chen's song and there are lots of inside jokes about the lyrics. Check them out when you guys are free. I love the middle-eastern/Egyptian vibe in 'Diamond'. While you are doing album reviews, don't forget to check out their Christmas albums too. Once all EXO albums are done, then there are EXO-CBX, EXO-SC, solo albums, OST's, collabs.... oh boy!! About the cat, if you notice, it has an L on it´s collar, which represents EXO-Ls and the flag says 1485 which is the EXO-L anniversary (when the fandom and the name were officially created). So, whenever you see a cat in one of EXO MVs it symbolises the fans, EXO-Ls
