If my memory serves me correctly, and it may not, Lucy’s makeup and lipstick was supposed to be typical for WW I. Soldiers would love to think that such a beautiful young woman was waiting for them. I believe that another translation is life through rose colored glasses. What a powerful yet tender song. Lucy looks to be in love. She is phenomenal. Thank you for the recognition!
