Lucy Heartfilia WIP 001
Added 2020-01-10 21:12:07 +0000 UTCTime to kick start this character. Before I started sculpting her face I decided to build a base mesh with a skeleton for myself as a guide for posing. Sometimes when I pose characters I lose sense of where the landmarks are and the structure of the body will look off. If I had a skeleton to follow, even if its just a rough one, then it helps me know the limitations of the pose. If the pose is super exaggerated then I will know for sure that I have to adjust the surrounding anatomy. If I can't figure it out right away that problem will linger in my mind and slow me down. So now I will have a realistic base mesh to start from for every project, I will adjust their proportions just like the animated GIF.
Currently I am sculpting Lucy's original hairstyle, but eventually I will sculpt the Star Dress Capricorn look. There is interest in a diorama, so I might consider creating the Capricorn goat guy for the tier 3 Alternative reward also. (sorry I'm not familiar with the series so I don't know his name.) I will do more research on the character, but I don't want to go through hundreds of episodes. You guys can give me more info on the character such as personality type, super power, strength level, etc. Let me know what you think in the comments.
I am recording the head sculpting phase and will upload that to YouTube once it's done.
