i feel for william though cause imagine you see your brother do some awful thing but then he says its to save peoples lives the person hes hurting will be fine, like thats a really tough decision and after getting too far into it and not being able to come that i know that that would hurt like hell, but then only to realise that it was all lies and that you ended up hurting people when you just wanted to help people is real traumatizing. i love it, really well done and suppperrr complex and i love it!!!! wadiwgaoisdguiaw

It took me until just now (after listening to this episode about 4 times) that I realized that William’s ringtone is the Danny phantom theme. It’s amazing! Just goes to show you how much effort JRWI puts into their content. It’s the subtle things that really help immerse the listeners in the world. I have a theory. Not a big one but still a theory nonetheless. William is going to trade his life to try and save/bring back Cantrip. We all know that William is now much weaker than other PD members after he came back to life, so it makes sense if it's been leading up to William dying again is somehow. This would be a perfect way for William to die without it just seeming it's just like killing him off for the sake of getting his powers back and would be in character. Especially if you consider how throughout the episode he's almost constantly wondering and asking how he's going to fix what he did. Just a lil' theory that I think is interesting.

Bro, Ghostknife has been doomed by the narrative since the start of s2, there’s a literal demon who can and will kill him and his family if he feels like he’s not useful enough, he pushes away possible allies because he’s angry or jealous, and just as things seem to start to go right for him, he loses his powers and betrays the friend who LITERALLY cut out his heart for him. Not to mention the whole manslaughter thing. Honestly I don’t know if he physically CAN have a happy ending at this point. (Sorry for the long comment, I’ve just had a lot of Feelings™️ about William recently and this comment sent me spiraling lmao)
