I can kinda understand why people think Mark can be redeemed but honestly I am not that big a fan of him as a character personally. He seems to be very well liked by a lot of people and I’ve never really understood completely why that’s the case

He’s an extremely human character, really well written for sure. I’m interested to see what he’s looking to achieve by murking lightspeed seeing as the trickster being in deadwood is pretty well known at this point. Mucho excited

The airport bit reminded me strongly of those family guy bits where Peter complains about something by calmly explaining it. Like the one with the food truck and all the napkins blow away. I mean this in the best way possible btw it made me laugh very hard

Before though it was only grizz who didn't like mark, and for pretty closed minded reasons at that. I think the hate from Charlie and condi come from what he did to light speed and the way he acted in prison mostly. But out of everybody, Mark seems like the most Real character in this series. I like him because he just feels the most human. His character nearly completely contrasts the world around him in a good way.

I really like marks character he’s super shitty and morally grey but he feels like a real person. I get why the pd/council don’t like him that’s fine, but I’d be lying if I didn’t say it makes me a little upset. His character has so much potential to be explored and I’ve felt like that’s been tossed in the garbage because they don’t like him. I don’t care if he gets a redemption arc or something I just feel like he keeps being shit on. (but that’s not to say I might not enjoy a punch or two to him for lightspeed.)

BRO SAME! I love mark with all my heart he’s pretty cold on the outside but he really does care for his son. The way he treat the pd is cold (I think) because he sees them as a threat to him and his son, he’ll pd pretty much killed ashe!

As a firm believer that Mark can be redeemed, the lack of care from the council physically pained me. Like, I truly believe he can be redeemed if the pd boys just TRIED to help him, and they refuse to :( although I will be coming after him if lightspeed doesn't end up being okay (i love her sm you can't do this to me Mark>:()
