2023-03-30 01:33:43 +0000 UTCOkay. So I want to say something that might not be super popular. I feel like for a while now that the show in general has lost it way. We have had a handfull of very nice and touching moments since The Improv show but I feel like more and more the guys are prioritizing the Bit over the plot. I think we all love the Bits these guys put together...the goofyness of the show is why its so much more apealing to me than something like Critical Role. But it seems like there is a growing dissonance between the world and story Grizzly is trying to present and the goofs that make the guys giggle. So much so that it is becoming a detriment to the show at large. And I feel like (at least from how its presented) that Grizzly agrees. He has said a few times that he is willing to take the show wherever the gang wants it to go...but I can feel his frustration when they arent taking his work seriously. He even warned them about acting goofy in the rolled before going into this house...but they still went ape mode. IDK...I have more thoughts on this so maybe I should try and make a video or something explaining myself more. Because I feel like I cant fit all my thoughts here.

Are we getting hints of his family? Probably not but I like connecting dots.

As well as how God interacts with us and changes and guides our lives. Besides that, love the podcast you guys!! 2023-03-20 19:18:20 +0000 UTCAlso, if a president or person in power says that God spoke to them, some people will say yes or no based on if they like it or not, but that’s not what truly should be how we gauge the truth. We should look at scripture and see if it contradicts or falsifies anything in the Bible. If it did then it wouldn’t be true, plus if it’s something unhinged and truly evil then it would be quite obvious if they’re telling the truth.

It was cause of the satanic panic where Harry Potter and all magic stuff was being hated on because people believed it was evil right? In all honesty it isn’t, as long as a Christian yknow, doesn’t hold it above Christ or truly believe in it, I believe it’s perfectly fine to play and enjoy. My group tends to avoid more satanic things just because we don’t want to involve ourselves with anything like that.

The book semi blamed a lot of different things for bad happenings and D&D was one of them. Christan communities and parent just took the notion that book had and ran with it, blaming every small thing on the game. It's a little more than that, but this is a quick summary.

Or you can make it like holy ground, where people have the belief that it's sacred ground that they live on, but they think that no matter what they do there it's still sacred, so the whole island is actually basically a huge slum, but they still insist it was built on holy ground. Like a "This island is sacred! No matter what happens here, it's sacred! No matter how we defile it, it's sacred!" and it just gets worse from there
