Grizz brought up the control powers and Charlie talked about how you don't see that happening with heroes, and my mind immediately went to Hitoshi Shinsou (my boy!). He's a perfect example of that scenario

Also I think the wisps left because he's alive now

Kolby

Can't wait to see the new character sheets

Charlie would want to make Nico Minoru

I’m very curious to see where Will’s relationship with the wisps goes now. Their weird and (for me) unknown intentions were always interesting and I hope it can still be explored in some fashion. Either way, I’m really excited to see what lessons everyone takes from their training and how it’s going to change their powers

I feel like Charlie's audio is too low and Grizzly's too high

Lemme just give my two cents here: if Charlie played a more typical superhero-type character I think the group dynamic would’ve been considerably less interesting. What I think he sometimes forgets is that the “tone of the room” is also determined by the personalities of the people in it. William narratively feels out of place as often as the other two Prime Defenders, which is essentially never (bits like sewer ravioli are the exception). The entire tone of the story is largely influenced by the combination of their three unique temperaments. Dakota is the spitting image of a hero-to-be: noble, compassionate, confident, and idealistic with a burning desire to help others. Vincent is a more unorthodox take on an aspiring hero: a kid from a different world whose idea of a hero resembles a free spirited adventurer more than a righteous idol. To me, William is especially interesting because, unlike the utter two, he never had any intentions of becoming any sort of hero. Despite living such a grandiose world of superhumans, William was fascinated by the supernatural, which is often more understated and obscure. As such, he has a more reserved and understated personality, although it compliments the otherwise turbulent group dynamic. I concede that Vincent isn’t isn’t quite as outgoing as Dakota, but if Will wasn’t such a dark and edgy odd-ball, the party would likely just be three Shonen protagonists (with Vincent doubling as an Isekai character as well). Not saying that would be awful, but to me it would be kinda one-note and very reminiscent of literally 99% of all superhero media I know. But all that is just my opinion. TLDR: Charlie, William is great as is. He never feels out of place to me and actually makes the story more unique and engaging due to how he contrasts the typical personality of a hero.

Charlie's power description should totally be Wormy's powers, that'd be so cool

Keyia

I love the idea of Boris Cole striking his hooves together to spark the fire.

Keyia

As a college student: I can confirm that I do in fact not try

Amelia

watching bizly being in a black box was so cool for the character to be genuinely clueless about the situation like he would be

RAND0MISER
