I think it is very fun and real about hp not being the thing that makes him dangerous. There are builds that I have with low ACs but have decent hp and a hell ton of damage possibilities!! And if you're a range caster, you can be so dangerous. 2) I just realized this while listening to the recap, but how was Jay able to read? Did she regain her ability to read at some point?

2022-12-08 02:53:40 +0000 UTCThe flashback magic item reminds me of the an alternate rule allowing Inspiration to be used as a flashback as well as the Phantom Thief rogue subclass from The Ultimate Adventurers Handbook which allows you to use a reaction to flashback and take a turn in the past.
