The intro for this episode, bruh. I can’t tell if I was still locked in the feels from listening to PD or if this was that messed up. Jay deserves better. I freaked out when Cedric showed up then Aslana came on board. I freaking love her! So on brand to grab Pretzel before greeting Gillion. Sorry bro, she’s cuter than you.

2022-11-13 02:01:41 +0000 UTCMy favorite setting in all of fiction is pirates, because the amount of creativity you can have from going from place to place on each island, and how everything can be so different on one than the other snd it makes sense narratively, its just so good, and a major part of that is for sure the sailing. Some may disagree, but to me its actually so amazingly perfect, it allows so so so much room to organically flesh out the crew and the players characters, as well as keeping thjngs interesting by having crazy stuff happen on the ocean, like a leviathan showing up, or a frickin tax monster or a fellow pirate crew. Then, you get to the island or major city and cleanly continue the story. As for riptide specifically ive adored the pacing so much, everything feels so natural to me, and its the pacing ive been strying to master for my own campaign, so moral of the story, dont change riptide is metal as heck and also the designs are so cool i love dreys the most hes so cool i want to have it goodbye
