2022-11-07 00:20:58 +0000 UTCI'm sure it would have been a little more impressive than frustrating if that crew hadn't stolen nearly everything in the midst of the battle that THEY dragged them into. Like, maybe if they accidentally stumbled upon each other it would have been slightly less sus, but that crew went out of their way to find someone to "help" them only to do nothing but steal. That implies that they actively wanted to take from good-hearted people, which is a sure way to burn some bridges. Either they were seeking out a capable target that would be able to hold out against the monster, which would make a terrible enemy, or they were looking for a target that they could simply leave there to sustain injuries or even die. Maybe I'm looking into it too much, but that's the vibes I got from their behavior. Also, the frequency of them forgetting that their crewmember was deaf kinda irked me. I don't know if the whole deaf thing is a new development, but, if it's not, I would think NOT developing a habit of calling her by name would be a relatively simple endeavor.

WE HAD SOMEONE WHO WAS A FAN, A BADASS CREW MOMENT ENDING LAST EPISODE AND GRIZZLY WAS GONNA KILL TAXES THIS EPISODE ENDING ONE OF THE LONGEST RUNNING PROBLEMS THE RIPTIDE PIRATES HAD. and then bam, the fogcloud.
