The ending to the suckening was almost perfect, the absolute despair from all of the characters after they have equally lost something valuable to them was so beautiful. The terror as Shilo watched an innocent man that he condemned get incinerated by flames, Emizel running away from Edward and Soda Crying, and Arthur losing most of his humanity after diabolizing multiple vampires. All of these things came together to converge on the final confrontation with Edward where they finally ruin him. Except it doesn't feel like a victory because of all they had lost, it was hollow. None of them knew where to go next or what to do, it was a perfect and destined ending to that campaign. And then there's this shit.
