Also, I think Nik was doing that thing where someone avoids culpability by claiming indirect causation = lack of responsibility, essentially blaming Ollie for using the compass since he didn't deliberately curse him. Idk, that was just my interpretation of it.

It's been over a year since Riptide started and we have a mountain of evidence of his intellect and skill. It's also been one year of work for him so yeah, lightening the load and using a module for one arc out of a year is awesome and cool actually.

(plus I think it's cool since it brings in this aspect of 'how do I take this story and make it my own' and since anyone can play those modules anyone who plays it has their own experience and thats just an extra fun layer to it all yknow?)

I don’t think they would mutiny, but I really do think some of them should eventually leave if their captains keep neglecting them. They are real people in this story and not just bit material. Although I will say that it is hard to come up with something for them to do that isn’t what the PCs are doing. I dunno, at least they should bring griffin along on some of the main adventures.

Apple is always hanging around Jay now. I believe something happened and she was cursed. With her father so focused on work/finding Jay and her sister gone there is no one there to look after her mother and know something happened

2022-06-19 02:05:08 +0000 UTChonestly most the campaigns my friends and I run are based from the modules it’s a great way to take a break from the insanity that is running and writing a campaign at the same time, so please don’t feel guilty about using one the feywild episode was super fun and felt just as much ‘riptide’ as any other episode, I look forward to the rest of the arc!

Though there's barely any evidence past him being jumpy once when asked if he know anything about magic (chip and him robbing the sky king), that getting older by an even number of years is a wild magic effect which happened when Ollie feasibly could have tried to help in a fight, and since NK said he wasn't responsible for ollie's curse
