Membership+ New Update Release Schedule/Approach

And now, the administrative part of things is here. Oh boy let's get this done.

Hi all, after much consideration and thought, along with research that went into other developers in this field, I've decided to introduce a new membership tier.

The Supporters tier will also be updated to $6.50 for new members that'll join after this weekend. Nothing changes for current subscribers.

Summer Buff (Superfan) Tier ($9.00)

What's different about this tier is that it'll align well with the new release schedule approach. Moving forward SSP will do more frequent releases. We'll call them update phases that'll be published once an individual scene/segment is done (or it can be a lot more than that, you decide and predict based on how I've been working thus far.). This updates that'll happen on a bi-monthly basis will happen between the final/milestone versions. Basically, just think of me pushing it out when a scene or two is done.

For instance, we had a jump from when the RV arc is done (0.25) to 0.28 which consist of Hotel, Beach, Mansion that took roughly 6 months of time.

Now instead of doing a milestone release after those 6 months, I'll do release in phases so e.g instead of waiting for all three arcs to drop, each 2-3 weeks, you'll get the Hotel equivalent or whatever that is playable and enjoyable (I'll ensure that.)

This tier allows me to publish, get feedback, testing and all that stuff. Also keeps the patreon active.

This is for people who wouldn't mind supporting the game on that tier and also wants to be first in line to see everything first, on a scene-to-scene, arc-to-arc(half-arc if its a long one), basis.

I'll say this for transparency, but you don't have to sub to this tier if you're someone that prefers to play arcs all together at once and sink it all in over an entire weekend.

Because the milestone update/final version (in this example, 0.28) will still be released for Supporters tier, just at a later date when all the interval/update phases has been released for that arcs/sagas (whatever you call it.) The short of it is, this tier gets you access to 0.26.5, 0.27.5, 0.27.8 equivalent.

Release:

The first update in this model will release on the 13th of September, available for all Supporters for the first time and subsequently for all Superfan tiers. This lets you dip your toes into the water (summer pun) and decide whether it's for you. Whether you want to support the game that way and if the content there is satisfactory.

If you're on the Supporters tier and would rather support the game the same way as you've did, then please keep this in mind that nothing's changed at all. The game updates will still be released as milestones (arc completion) on a basis that will be satisfactory.

I cannot emphasize this enough, so I'll say this again once more:

Your support allows me to invest more time and resources into creating the best possible content for you on a timeline/timely basis. This new tier is one way but regardless, any support you've given me has and will mean a lot to the development.

Alot of time has been put into this game and a lot more time will go into it too. There's no status bar/stats screen in game that shows you the time sunk, but it helps that I love doing it so this isn't a "HEEEEY PAY ME MORE FOR MY TIMEEE AAAAAAHH" thing. But let's be nice and don't go "HEY YOU SHOULD DO IT FOR FREE IF YOU LOVE IT AHAHAHA". We'll need to have a balance here or try to have one.

All in all, I hope you can have faith in this project and faith that there's no shortchanging from me in terms of effort (the best I can, I know, the art isn't some uh what's the h-anime studio name again, bunnywalker level) but I have and will put ton of effort into the delivery.
