Fr. The stuff that kills you instantly is usually pretty high level/CR. Disintegrate is on the lower end of that spectrum at a 6th level spell, which a full caster class (specifically Sorcerer, Wizard and Arcana Cleric) has access to at 11th level. While Revivify (3rd level spell) can bring back someone who has died within the past minute, it doesn’t restore any missing body parts or anything, plus the material components cost 300 gp. Disintegrate turns you into dust, and only a 9th level spell (True Resurrection or Wish) can bring you back. For reference, full spellcasters don’t get access to 9th level spells until 17th level, and none of the PCs are full spellcasters. So, having any necrotic damage that downs you instantly kill you is very imbalanced. There are cantrips and monsters of CR 1/8 that do necrotic damage, whereas the stuff that can cast Disintegrate is all CR 21 and above.

2022-02-25 23:50:02 +0000 UTCWith necrotic as well, I would consider making a rule where you cannot be stabilized unless someone else uses healing on you, and so you would continuously make death saves until you are either healed or you fail a certain amount of saves in a row. So instead of dying with just three death fails you would need to fail 3 consecutive saves (which is more forgiving) with the catch being that you are perpetually rolling death saves until someone helps you. Just a weird home-brew idea I thought I would toss out there.

Sometimes the eps are delayed because we wait for thumbnails or etc. We let the Just Rolleds go up anyways, even if the ep isn't public, so that the people who caught the livestream premiere on Twitch can listen. Plus no harm in the rolleds being early. hope that clears up confusion
