SSP's development quick feedback/input (Members)

Do not read further if you have not finished the Bakery/RV arc.

When replaying my own game, I've come to realize something different in how the main character's perspective is approached in my game. Whether it is deliberate or not, I can't remember.

For instance, in Scars of Summer and other NTR Visual novels, the protagonist never actually sees anything (and if they do, it is much much later in the story). Maybe there is a good game I can look to that is similar to what I do but right now, here lies the dilemna.

Shadow/hidden sex is fine but what about the sprites in the Bakery where they are full on at it? Narrative-wise I've made it obvious that the main character(Dan) does not see what is happening but you as the player sees what is happening even when playing as Dan. Does that impact the game experience for you? There's also a titjob scene early where Dan is about to enter the storage where the entire animation was shown to you (but narrative wise, not Dan). And this also includes the numerous sprites that is blocked off to Dan's pathing but you can see it.

I'm asking this because a lot of NTR game does it a lot more subtle (torn clothes, wrinkled clothes) and moaning but never seeing anything (unless you do recollections). Or phone calls/video calls but not seeing her face so the experience of you being the main character is kept in tact. Some games make sure that all the sex scenes are only through recollections/girls POV. They still have shadow/hidden scenes though.

I don't really know where to go from here. And whether I should stick to how I am doing it now.

Maybe I'll cut out all and any "omniscent view" moments (e.g no sex sprites, no scene AT ALL if you are Dan but there'll still be shadow).

How much does it matter to you? Do you like seeing things from "an observer" who sees the story plays out or would you prefer to fully immerse yourself in the MC and only, absolutely, sees what he sees?

Option 1 can be explained better but selecting that means you're fine with most of what is in the game now and it doesn't really break enjoyment for you.

I thought option 4 might make a fine balance but you'll also have to sacrifice full-body/full sprite because not only is it more work (which is fine if justified), I will have full CGs for recollection/memory so they will feel like a much, much greater afterthought that I rather not do if its going to be the case. So no more full body sprites/full sex sprites unless absolutely necessary. (Think moving bed, shaking wardrobe, and consider whether that is more appealing to you than Masaru and Shion's sprites in the bakery).

You also have to consider the locations where by the 13th time you see another curtain you'll go oh shit, again?

There's always the option of "let me choose when the moment comes" but even that in itself will break the immersion of you being Dan, so while having that choice might fit with the current game. It won't fit a game where you can only and only see as Dan.

Either way, thanks for taking the time to read this and your feedback will be important. I'm going to pull the first time developer card again and am seeking input.

Please, don't hesitate to comment your input/thoughts below either.

Thank you!

I am for observer variant but also think that it would be cool to add some characters sprites for "caught in the middle/right after the act" with messed up clothes, hairs, cum stains and so on. It was done in boobjob scene, would be cool to see more of it

If no one wrote complaints about this, then you do everything correctly, all the more first of all, do it as you like. My opinion is that in the games on the rpgmaker, the all -seeing player is the main feature
