2022-01-16 18:17:53 +0000 UTCI was really scared to watch this, like I couldn't start on my homework or anything cause I was worrying; cause I saw a comment that was like "please don't move off prime defenders" and got really scared. Now I'm not really worried. What really got to me was the fact that if you ended soon, William, Dakota and Vyncent would be forever unfinished. They'd never complete their character arcs. They'd just stand there as static images of what could have been. But y'all really seem adament about making sure that doesn't happen. I don't mind if prime defenders ends; everything has an end. But I don't want it to end without a satisfying conclusion. I just hope you don't rush that ending, because then the growth will feel unearned and the conclusion won't be satisfying at all. But like, you know that.

It strikes this really good line between just plain fun and really hecking dark, which is EXACTLY the kind of content I enjoy. And something about the way you guys have been playing out this story (particularly Grizz with Dakota, who is probably my favourite character) really just GETS to me. Maybe that sounds silly when talking about a show where sewer ravioli is/was a thing, but dude, I'm not joking when I say that this show strikes me as something rather special.

I have a whole google doc of odd descriptions, along with a few stray notes scattered across numerous devices. Often times the best ideas arise when you're avoiding other work and you just can't let them escape. Half the stuff I know about d&d now came from me looking up my ideas to check if they were possible to play. It didn't actually occur to me that there were other TTRPGs other than d&d until like a year ago, and since then my ideas have probably tripled. I'm still so incredibly proud of some of the ideas I've come up with that I'm actually a little nervous to share them because I don't want people to claim my ideas before I get the chance to use them. When I come up with something I haven't personally seen someone do before, it makes me feel really powerful, as if I've just created a new element on the periodic table. It's a particularly satisfying feeling that I don't want someone to ruin for me. Oh god I did not mean to rant

I WAS JUMPING UP AND DOWN LIKE YESSSSSS VYNCENTTTTT!!!! *me taking notes during the mechanics lecture*: big man no dodge therefore lightsaber But really though I fucking enjoy the utilization of like all the mechanics and manipulation of rules, so like that kind of analysis I just love :D I absolutely love combat! I honestly wouldn't be made with back to back combat eps if its part of story you know? But definitely the talk at the end made the episode whole, kudos griz:) Oh god judge charlie is back...
