i totally love the new episode style, its super entertaining and i feel like its a good progresion. i feel like the direness of the story and world gets broken up by the dumb bits and it works really well. it isnt too dark or too light, its a happy medium!!

(for real though-- i held a oneshot set in a mall, and each store did some crazy shit. the spencers had a cult. the hot topic offered everyone LSD. food court was a scam ran by Mr. Beast Burger. it was super fun designing every small store, and having the players choose what kind of store they wanted to go into)

But man, jrweek has been incredible guys. You said you feel different playing in person and it is totally noticeable watching how much more into it you all are! Very excited for the future, in both Riptide and Prime Defenders!!

2021-11-03 22:47:42 +0000 UTCI'm honestly glad Condi finally got the karma he deserved for hitting L with their Uber driver in the oneshot. Recompenses aside, I honestly enjoyed the more visual bits brought about by the in-person setting. The episode-by-episode-esque nature really flowed with it since it helped to keep the story moving, even with some of the more distracting moments. The look of shame from everyone else in the room also seemed a lot more tangible when the bits got out of hand. Glad to be here to give monee.
