Honestly, I felt like I was watching a professionally produced piece of media, to scream "GOOD SHIT BIZLY MY GOD" at the end of the episode (which I did) would be an understatement to how much I care about these characters now. So yeah, you could say you made me give a shit.

2021-05-20 16:09:08 +0000 UTCI think what I’m looking forward to most is the long term ramifications of everything from this episode. There’s so much set up. I’m glad that their security has been stolen from them because it means we get to watch y’all experiment with a lot of morally charged topics with characters that will obviously butt heads about these conversations a lot. They’re all trying to figure out who they are as people in such unique and different ways that the prospect of watching the role play that might come from it is a lot of fun. I’m looking forward to Dakota especially surprisingly, because he isn’t normally a character type I enjoy that much but his world just keeps getting rocked and how Griz is handling it is making me intrigued about who he’s going to become.

2021-05-20 00:57:15 +0000 UTCHoly Shit. That episode is one of my favorites of the now over 100 JRWI episodes. Get ready for some praise, bois. Coming right off the last episode, I loved how the Dakota vs. Doug fight reiterated Dakota saying he was going to kill him for lying to him, + Doug saying he did what he had to do. It made it so personal compared to an unknown random villain, + Grizzly did great the entire session with the wild emotions. I'm low key really looking forward to Dakota's emotional breakdown (I know that sounds fucked up) because his rage so got the better of him that he was making death threats all over, yet intervened when Vyncent went to kill Wavelength, + I want to see where his emotions go to process that. It might have made it difficult on you guys to hop around from story to story, but you all played it sooo well + I absolutely loved it. Everyone had big fights while already being scuffed from an explosion, especially William + I loved that these weren't just some henchmen or goons, they were of equal or higher (Mal) status to fight them. Very interesting pull to give a hint at William's origin and William basically being like, "fuck off, my friends are dying". I'm a sucker for Whisp Form fighting these big opponents. Please continue the poetry bit cos that was fuckin amazing. Props to Condi for making the mage sheet in what seemed like 10 seconds + the goofy personality. I really liked the nonchalant vibe, especially when he called William a buzzkill + peaced out. I did not expect wavelength to help them, + I didn't expect him to beat up the other chick either. The fact that now they'll have to keep this secret makes things all the more have higher stakes, + I think its a great way to shatter this world view that they may have, which considering they're teenagers was bound to happen so it ties in wonderfully. So much of this played out in my head like My Hero Acadamia (mainly Dakota) + a super hero comic. Anyways fuck Ghoul + fuck beef stroganoff still.
