finncharlie

i absolutely loved the episode oh my god. i'm the kind of person who obsesses over character dynamics and beach episode type arcs so this episode was so entertaining to me. you guys are so funny i teeheed a bit

finncharlie

Wow after listening to the episode. I have to say it was very crazy. But i do want to ask for the people who listened to the Monster Control One-Shot. Was that one crazier than this? I’m assuming it was based on what people have said about it.

Meapyboy1234567

wait what happened to just rolled with it 6?

Meapyboy1234567

I am here for the insanity

Veemon 22

I loved this episode I'm just letting you guys know one of my favorites. definitely up there. got a lot of laughs out of me . just rest in peace to bilzy notes xD

Coco

The other Just Rolled are really awesome and I learn a lot as a newer dm, but this episode taught me that it's perfectly fine to be frustrated with players. I absolutely love you guys and I would say I'm learning from my favorites

Magen Martinez

I want to be the party warlock class.

MithralGear417

episode 7 was balls to the wall, i was super impressed by bizly's improv and it was a great sort of insanity.

scrimmyjim

This episode literally felt like the just roll what if, like I laughed SO HARD BRO!!! I found there was just enough actual story to keep it relevant, and then the rest was just gravy!

Robin Selkirk

Loved this episode, it had me giggling at 3 in the morning and waking up my roommate. Love your guys’ energy, as funky as it was. 10/10

Genevieve Rose

this episode was such a fucking doozy. i had listened to 30 minutes of it and it felt like 2 hours. i loved it it was so hilarious for real. here are my theories on the plot: doug is only working for overlord bc he needs the money to support him and cameron cause both their parents died or something. he doesnt want cameron to be like him and that’s why cam is at a private school and is smart and stuff but he’s still just a kid. doug doesnt want to be evil but he doesnt see any way out of his situation. that’s my personal theory on their backstory

moss

(sorry for the deleted post above i clicked delete instead of edit its 2 am okay don't @ me) I actually liked the majority of this episode a lot. The only part that I feel dragged a bit was the party city segment because it felt like a totally different mini ark that was just shoved in the middle of the party ark. Like I want to know more about the party ghost, who was the cashier guy that disappeared? what's the deal? but then it just got glossed over a little bit and we went on to the rest of the party ark. Loved the whole party thing btw, I've been so stoked to meet more of their different classmates and stuff and I love Doug so that section popped off in my opinion. I know this session got pretty de-railed but overall I still enjoyed myself a ton, and I wouldn't stress about it too much, either way, it'll eventually get itself back on track, and until then just go wild go crazy go stupid!

Blinkoln

I was listening to this episode at work and it was so hard to not just burst out laughing throughout the entirety of it. It was so funny and chaotic and Bizly did such an amazing job of keeping up and adding to the chaos and comedy.

Sock Weaver

I know this episode got derailed a lot but it was actually my favourite episode so far it was so funny and it was nice to just see the characters interact with each other as teenagers

Jacob

Even though it got a bit chaotic and derailed from the mission, I think it was cool to watch the characters as teenager superheroes getting to enjoy being teenagers. Also I'm super excited to see what happens with the spirit of party city, that ghost was one of my favorite parts of the episode.

Cookie_Monster

I love how insane this episode went, every part was fun and absolutely hilarious to watch. Party City was fantastic and Bizly did a great job DMing that part, and everybody else was so good at playing off of what was happening. I love both of these campaigns so much.

Ellis

This episode was hilarious. I definitely thought the sewer ravioli was bit and was super surprised when William legit tried to roll persuasion. I think Bizly did a good job of not shutting the whacky antics down while still keeping the story coherent. William's nightmare was a really cool touch, and I like how Vyncent was legit freaked out that he signed a pact with Party City ghost. And Dakota had peak Dakota energy as always. Until I listened to this Just Rolled With It, I thought that the party was supposed to have happened that day and that the Fartbo thing had been planned. You improv really well; this episode went off the rails, and it still felt natural and like it fit.

Engingerneer

It seems as tho most of everyone has spoken quite well about their thoughts and I will give a quick one bc I normally type alot POV dm:oof Player: hehhee that was fuuun Listener: lol that was crazy But fr I lost my shit when u played unravel and as a listener its easy for me to focus on the plot hooks so im mega interested in will backstory, warlock class, and where ever tf they put their hero points

Kirbywafro

Don’t beat yourself up, Bizly! You did good working with all the bits and antics that happened during the session, even while you were frustrated! I really enjoyed how goofy and chaotic it was and it’s nice to have these kind of sessions to get all the sillies out so that the missions and story sessions aren’t like that when it’s actually time to be serious. I’m very much excited to see how you pull this session together as a recap and how it’ll build up from here! ★

ChaosInPastels

There were a whole lot of hilarious moments but I do think this is an example of going a little too far. Ironically, Charlie was the most ready to follow along with Bizly’s plans but he ran with the bits in such a way that it set up derailment. Though it was in character, Dakota being so enthusiastic about the party kept pulling the session further into complete derailment. Condi didn’t feel all that involved compared to Charlie and especially grizzly. I do think that maybe Bizly should have put his foot down at some point (my idea and expectation was Tide allowing them to hold the party, but made them schedule it a couple weeks in the future in-game) but I get that he felt a bit lost. I do like the way it set up Fartbo as a way to bite back and bring back some mild derailment from an early session.

Some Acolyte

This episode was hilarious, both because of the antics and because there’s something deeply entertaining in watching a man become broken in the way Bizly did

Box Of Fidget Spinners

I loved this episode! It may have been stressful, but I think you did a great job this time bizly and you can totally pull it back together. I was really hoping that vincent would tell dakota that he saw Ms. G do the splits and he would do the anime nosebleed

WaxyLT_102519

Man I felt for Bizly as a DM, and hearing this I gotta give props to how Bizly handled everything. You the man Bizly and I can't wait for next episode!

BeepBoopMahGoo

I really enjoy the campaign Bizly, you be doing a great job

Allofakind

I actually think this episode was hilarious, I was watching it at work and laughing and probably scaring the customers. But at the same time, being a DM, I know exactly how it feels when everything is derailed and everything needs to be rewritten in real time and how frustrating it can be because you can't get the party to do what you want them to do. I have had to do that "pick them up and drop them off" before after 3 hours of doing absolutely nothing, and sometimes its for the best. But at the same time, its really fun to let the characters develop and interact,, especially since they're still teens and they as characters don't know how to balance it. Maybe learning to reel it all in, both the DM and the PCs, so it can be a cohesive episode, even if everything goes off the rails

Allofakind

The real adventure was the lines of 20 year old moldy Dorito dust we snorted along the way.

Sierra Garcia

As a DM I felt the pain for Bizly. As a watcher though, I thought it was really fun. The episode was funny and I was actually expecting the party this episode so maybe that why I enjoyed it so much. But I am also super invested in the funny flesh. I can’t wait to see the investigation continue! Even with how bonkers the episode was it was really fun and oozed charm.

Petal101

i loved the episode...although it was a bit much. as a watcher i was expecting the investigation a lot more in this episode but i did kinda guess that the party would come back to bite bizly in the ass. the boys in a open/modern setting is a lot 😭😭 i loved that party warlock bit but uh condi said before and balancing actually being superheroes and just being teenagers is great i love that! this episode just felt like a lot more of the just being teenagers y’know? as a watcher bizly i’m really invested into the investigation going on so don’t feel discouraged!!

astrorayy

Vincent should have a moment where he teaches Elvish to William or any fictional language. I just think it would be useless and neet
