Shamonda: *concerned about children care safety* Me, knowing how the episode ends:ππ¬π Okay, now I'll leave a real comment lol. I was expecting Shamonda to have a strong reaction about Kira's accident knowing how protective she is over her, but poor Ralph π€£ππ. I've also come to realize that this show might be the most difficult to talk about without spoiling than any other show I've done discussions about lol. Even when y'all asked me what the series was about, I could only give vague answers because the "clone" reveal doesn't even happen til episode 3 lol. I'll do my best though (although I MIGHT start purposely slipping in stuff in my comments to throw you guys off, just to make it interesting lol). Name Check: Max Headroom = Dr. Aldous Leekie. Fluffy Haired French Blonde = Delphine. Beth's Partner = Arthur Bell. Female Detective = Angela Deangelis. Morgie = Colin. Allison's neighbor = Ansley. Ansley's Husband = Chad. Siobhan Sadler = Mrs. S. Underground Pipeline Leader = Carlton. Helena's "caregiver" = Thomas. Funny story. The first time I watched episode 7, I realized Allison wasn't in it, so my brain automatically assumed that maybe the actress was doing a different project at the time, only to realize, no, she really wasn't π€£ππ. So, we start the episode with baffled Art about the reveal of "Sarah Manning" and her being deceased, only to find out later she's been dead twice over lol. I actually feel bad for Art because imagine being the lead detective on this case and all you're is more questions with the "answers" that you receive. And his now former partner seems to be involved in all of it. Like, what do you tell your boss? How do you even BEGIN to explain, especially without all of the pieces Lol. He seems to be still "protective" of Beth by making Deangelis keep quiet about everything they're discovering, but will he eventually fold? Will he ever a tally figure everything out? I love that the show will bring stuff back that the group had handled temporarily and not just left alone. Bringing "Beth" back in the fold, the bodies with matching fingerprints and blood dna between "the killer" and "Jane Doe". I appreciate that they don't make the cops dumb like a lot of shows do, which makes everything even more complicated for Sarah. Art HAS been to Felix's building before. Remember when he was following "Beth" and he swipped the money from the trunk? He had followed "Beth" to Felix's place and that where he took the money. Now, that Felix called Art last episode, now HE'S getting put on Art's radar in a big way. Allison's kids are at her mother's house, so they're currently safe from Allison's hot mess at the moment lol. She done popped some pills, smoked some reefer, slept her her "best friend's" husband, got into a street fight, had a bottle of wine, and probably sipped on whatever liquor was on Mrs. S dining table lol. I guess if you're going do a day of spiraling, you might as well as go all out π©. Ansley's watching her, but how will she proceed now that she's been dropped by Allison in the streets. Allison singing Meredith Brooks in the car was perfect though lol. Cosima needs someone looking after her. Allison has Sarah, Felix, & helping her, and vice versa. Cosima being isolated makes her vulnerable and the "brain" should NOT be vulnerable. It's almost like Cosima has been emotionally detached from the whole clone situatiin and sitting heavily into the scientific that I'm not even sure she realizes how much she risking of herself. She's always the calm one about everything that goes on (although that could be the constant reefer lol) and since she's not in the mix the way the others are, the severity of it all doesn't seem to affect Cosima as much as it probably should. I think being a scientist makes it easier for her to dettach to help do her job, but at what cost? Felix & Sarah say Vosima got the science wrong about their identical DNAs, Cosima says she didn't. Who's right and how did Leekie know that "Beth" isn't Beth? Now, Cosima's possibly getting emotionally attached now to Delphine, who's now being pushed to form a romantic/sexual relationship to get information. A little French accent and fluffy blonde hair, Cosima now wants all the French kisses lol. I do love that she doesn't even put on clothes to go get ice cream and just threw her red jacket over her matching bra & undies to go to the store because I've legit done that before to pick up takeout π (I love that her undergarments didn't really go together lol). Shamonda singing during Cosima & Delphine making out took me out. You got a hit record on your hands lol. Interesting that Delphine doesn't give up Kira. She seems to blindly follow Leekie without question like we saw in the car that she'll try to manuever her sexuality to do her job when asked. She DOES she seem to have had more information going into the job than Paul had, so it brings up the question if "who knows what" again. Paul is reveal to have been blackmailed into the job, while Delphine seems to be doing it "willingly". Despite the seemingly blind following, Delphine kept Kira hidden from Dr. Leekie and quickly lied to get him off the phone. Why? "Dr. Leekie sends his regards" Olivier got the Games of Thrones treatment didn't he? π... One of my favorite things is seeing the Mrs. S & Sarah relationship evolve throughout the season. Mrs. S is certain a firm mother (with Sarah & Felix as her children, you definitely have to be), but to see these moments of genuine love and care between them, especially knowing how strained they were in the first few episodes, hearing Mrs. S talking about all of the police incidents, missing person's reports, the fist fights between them two, and seeing them together now always make me smile. You can tell Siobhan (Mrs. S) loves her kids and Sarah has gained this new appreciation for her mum. She's even respecting her enough to not wanting to lie to her and even trust her to tell her everything that's going on, something Sarah has been very hesitant to do with ANYBODY. I love that Mrs. S comforts Allison. We've gotten different types of Mama Mode with Mrs. S this episode. She takes care of Allison like she's one of her own. She's very perceptive as well, connecting the dots that Allison was the one who visited Kira. Mrs. S. loves her grandbaby too and just like she did with Sarah, she said she ready to burn it all down. Getting a bit of information about her past, it also make sense that Mrs. S would know how to handle cops and she handled it perfectly without giving anything away when she was unexpectantly questioned. I also love the random sibling moments between Sarah & Felix that they throw in the episodes like Sarah just harassing Felix with her foot oyt of boredom and him complaining about it reminds of me & my sisters lol. They may not be blood related, but I wouldn't doubt that Sarah & Felix get their rebellious personalities from their underground, freedom fighting, punk rock listening mother and probably didn't even realize it (I guess that brings in the question of "Nature vs Nurture" again). Speaking of which, I think we may be seeing some similarities between the clones. Last episode, we saw Sarah & Cosima arguing om the phone and after they hung up, they both tossed their phones to the side and called each other the b word. I always thought that was funny/cute "twin" moment lol. And so far, we've seen Sarah, Allison, & Cosima make very impulsive decisions that get them caught up. Is it a coincidence? Or are they all naturally, genetically impulsive? Or has the circumstances simply have them making impulsive decisions? I just always personally found it interesting that they all go about things differently and see from different perspectives, but always found myself trying to figure out what is "Nature vs Nurture" in regards of the Sister Clones wver since Cosima brought it up in episode 3, because they are sooo different from each other. Helena's once again back in this mix and has gotten hold of Sarah's "home address" and Kira's identity. We've seen Helena obssess over specific details before by speaking in repetition. First with, "I'm not Beth" and now "I miss you, mummy". Ralph does bring up a really interesting question about Kira, but despite the obsessiveness, why does Helena change her mind about taking Kira? Also, her dancing in the middle of the Neolution club with Olivier's tail. I think about it everytime that song pops up on my playlist π. Then you have Sarah. Sooo much mystery surrounding Sarah Manning. Dead twice over, being adopted and manuevered in this underground crew as child, her name immediately peeked Leekie's interest, she's the only one so far that we've seen with her own biological child, who is her birth mother, who is Carlton? I respect that Sarah sat down told Mrs. S everything. Again, something that's she hasn't really been doing, only giving people only bits of information at a time, even Felix in the beginning. She's definitely has had the biggest character arc this season so far without ever feeling like she's out of character. So what's next? Will Allison finally sober up? Will the power of stoner lesbianism convert Delphine to make crazy science? Will Kira meet Bone Thugs at the crossroads? Will we find out. Or will we? *Cue Evil Laugh* π...
