2023-09-10 16:47:54 +0000 UTCMy thoughts for this one we're all pretty much formed on the last post, the only thing I will add, is yes the Subjects of Ymir are the Eldians aka people who can turn into Titans. The Coordinate is another name for the Founding Titan. Eren finally has a decent theory which is that the missing condition to activate the Founding Titan's power is royal blood! He alone would not be able to use that power because he is not of royal blood and the only other person left on Paradis is Historia, but Eren does not fully trust his government with that information given their shady history. He fears what they might do to her. Marley would've have forced Diana to reproduce so that they had multiple members of royal blood to keep passing down the founding titan should they ever get ahold of their power. Letting her be turned into a Titan was a smart play, but it makes the remaining members of the royal family some of the most important players in the game. The last scene threw all of us in a whirl, what does he mean protect Armin & Mikasa. He said that they we're *not* his memories, so he does not know. Which my mind immediately went to where Ralph's went, which is, can he see the future? But if so then he would know how all this plays out right? Yet he seems uncertain about the whole situation. The other thing that absolutely sucks is the 13yr curse. Poor Mikasa, has the potential to outlive both of her friends 😭. Eren can live til 23yrs old and Armin around 28yrs old. Not even half a natural life span. But there is no way out now, but I love how Mikasa's mind automatically goes to "NO, there must have been a mistake somewhere" She can just not fathom losing the only family she has left 😢 . She fights so hard for both of them, this is why she's one of my favorites! The "Scream" you both refer to is an ability of some of the nine which is to command titans. Eren screamed when he punched Diana's titan and that's when he commanded the titans but we have also seen the Female Titan scream and summon titans which she used to escape in the forest. So it's assumed that Pure Titans will listen to some of the nine if they scream. The Beast Titan also seems to be able to command pure titans as well. Well sometimes anyway, there was that one random titan that didn't listen in season 2 and The Beast Titan killed it 😂 P.S Hange & Levi left a chair open in honor of Commander Erwin in the government meeting 🥲
