2023-09-23 18:47:51 +0000 UTCThere was only 3,000 years or so between the fall of Kobol and them settling on the 12 colonies and starting the cycle all over again. So even though their society on the 12 planets/colonies was much like ours…They knew that humans came from Kobol on space ships 3,000 years ago and that they lost some of that technology etc but they quickly got back to a level that was more advanced than we are today , in only 3,000 years. So Lee saying ditch the tech and ships into the sun, is why it took “us” 150,000 years to get back to almost kinda ish where they where tech wise when they invented AI/cylons And the whole thing about humans living in harmony with the Gods on Kobol…the Lords of Kobol…heavily implies that those Lords/gods where the mixed cylons/humans from the previous big cycle of all this has happened before …they survived there big apocalypse and moved out and settled in Kobol…but kept their technology and nurtured native humans who went on to defy the lords of Kobol and make cylons , who left for earth 1 and did their own little cycle of all this has happened before….
