I AM SO HERE FOR THE ARMIN LOVE!!!! He was my favorite character from the first episode and it always makes me happy when reactors realize just how amazing he is. You guys have known this for a while now but it’s awesome to hear out loud. And Shamonda, I still remember how much you loved Sasha way back from the start, so it’s nice to see that hasn’t changed. Sasha is one of the best characters on any show. And Ralph, I’m right there with you—whether you call it a cartoon or anime, it’s the best show PERIOD. It took me until season 4 to really understand that, but even at this point it’s already incredible. I’m so so so glad you guys started watching this!!!

2023-08-08 02:05:44 +0000 UTCSo clarification, Mr Riess did tell the truth to Kenny, Kenny cannot use the founding titans power because it is exclusive to the royal family. So Griesha, Eren’s dad, did kill Frieda and took their families power, then Eren’s dad from what it showed then transformed Eren and Eren ate his dad (who yes is dead, for clarification) and now Eren has received the power of the Founding Titan but is unable to use it because he is not of royal blood aka a member of the Reiss family. Historia is, so if she took the power back, the power would be back in play and able for use instead of laying dormant inside of Eren. For whatever reason, when a member of the Riess family has possessed the founding titan ability, they all make the decision to not stop the Titan apocalypse… A cool detail that is often glossed over, Mikasa & Levi are physically strong but they also gets a boost from their insane speed which comes from the ODM gear. They burn more gas than other people because they use alot of it at once to move around fast. If you remember the first season after Eren was “eaten” Mikasa was zooming around fighting in her grief and forgot she was burning so much gas, and she ran out and nearly got killed! So her and levi have to also be conscious of how much gas they have left! Also another detail this episode added was that Mr Riess told Historia that it isn’t enough to just eat the person with the Titan power, they have to eat the nape and get the spinal fluid, which lines up to season one where Eren was eaten, by the Titan after he saved Armin, that Titan didn’t get Eren’s power because it didn’t rip Eren apart to get his spinal fluid, Eren just sat in his stomach until he accidentally activated his Titan power and emerged from inside the Titan! Yes Armin is the GOAT!! Making another note! Episode 12 has a mid credits scene!! Don’t skip it or fast foward to it, let it roll into it! I’m just doing my due diligence as a mod to harass yall about it, sorry not sorry 🧡
